The property seems to be going through a staged renovation or upgrades. The first room we were assigned had a view of the street and Marriott’s boundary wall with needed repairs to the bathroom. The manager on duty apologized and was able to switch us to one of the recently renovated rooms with a view of the pool and lake.

Unfortunately the room wasn't clean. It was dusty. The sofa and ironing board were dirty. The air conditioner in one bedroom was leaking water. The patio wasn't clean. The amenities were great. The staff were ok.

My only complaint was 1 waitress was not very pleasant. Thought maybe having a bad day but it was the same the day after. I had asked multiple times for juice to the point where I walked up to the bar to ask and the cup was aggressively placed in front of me. We had an early excursion one morning so we arrived before the cook, fully aware breakfast started at 7am. We just wanted to be there early to allow enough time to order, eat and make our pickup for 8am. Initially she seemed annoyed we showed up 5 minutes before opening however, after explaining we had excursion her mood lightened. We felt like we were a burden for trying to order our meals. Front desk staff were always pleasant, very friendly and always willing to grab us a taxi. Also, staff around the grounds always said hello, good morning, enjoy your day which was genuinely sincere. This interaction will not stop me from visiting again. Loved the pillows, bed was super comfortable and the grounds were well maintained.
