Perfect
We arrived early and had a drink in the beautiful beer garden which can accommodate well over 100 seated,super tidy and clean,on check in we were given room 9 which is above the gents toilets,yes you hear the hand drier going off during pub hours but the room was overlooking the 5 furlong start of the races,breakfast was great and good quality ingredients,staff super friendly and rooms were perfect,will definitely return

A quiet retreat.
Mattress was very hard and lumpy and creaky, room was too warm having to leave window open all night and risking security. Their was a fan provided but it was far too noisy to leave on. Other than that staff were very friendly and professional. Food quality and taste was excellent.

Attractive large rooms off quiet, secure courtyard. Good restaurant & bar on site. Nic gardens overlooking racecourse. Friendly owners park & ride into Bath 2 mins walk away!

Super Hotel!
My son & his wife stayed here as a treat break away to visit Bath to see my daughter, sister, sister-in-law. Great hotel, lovely spacious room, good quiet location, lots of parking. Breakfast made to order, yummy!

Charming Charlcombe inn
A really lovely stay - beautiful rooms, well appointed with striking features relating to the racecourse situated next door. Good reasonably priced food, well cooked and presented. Excellent included in the price breakfast. All in all, a five star experience.

Great stay
We loved staying at this fantastic old pub the staff were great breakfast was fantastic and included in the price. The only 2 things I would change is the bed, it was rock hard and could’ve don’t with a soft top mattress topper to fix this problem, and there was no air conditioner and the room was very hot so a ceiling fan or even a pedestal fan could be in the rooms. Other than that everything else was great.
