I have a disability and have a service animal, I let the property know this via my reservation left message. While I was enroute to the hotel I received a call stating that the room type I reserved was on the 2nd floor and if I wanted a first floor room it would be $10 more. I said I did not care what the type or bedding was, a first floor was most important because of (1) disability and (2) having to let out my service dog. When I arrived I was once again told of the extra fee and repeated my position. The desk clerk (who barely spoke english but picked his nose in front of me) chose to write (what seemed like a 20 page dissertation) while checking me in at 1am and apparently showed his discontent by putting me in the furthest possible room in an area where there were NO parking spots, which he could CLEARLY see by the security monitors that even I COULD SEE! and I walked by obviously empty rooms on the FIRST FLOOR which had plenty of empty parking spots in front of them….which as a single woman, traveling and checking in at 1am with a disability and service animal was just ridiculous. Then I got to the room and the situation got WORSE! There were pubic hairs on the pillows, dead bugs on the walls (smashed corpses) and more…but the absolute WORST was I spilled some water on the floor and took a towel to to wipe it up and the towel was BLACK meaning the floor was repulsively FILTHY! I have photos of EVERYTHING to back each of these FACTS.
Seemed to be very clean. I like that it had viable flooring. Only negative was hearing the neighbors TV all night even as I left I. The morning. It wasn’t too loud. Really good stay and not a lot of price

I’m not one to complain but I do think that you get what you pay for. The price I paid for the room, I did expect to hear the TV from other rooms. And I did, along with children running in the room above mine. But the location was convenient and the outside parking was well lit. Staff was professional. Did have a encounter with a woman asking for help to get a room for night, the hotel served its purpose and check out was a breeze.
Room was sooo dirty! Sheets and pillow cases had crud. Garbage in room had banana peels and other garbage. Room smelled of mold and marijuana. Dead bugs in window sill! Turning on the heater caused more bad smells.
I’ve seen worse but this was pretty bad. Night attendant was nice but still.
I stayed at a Red Roof Inn in Malone NY so I was excited to stay at another but it certainly did not meet my expectations.
Safety was my biggest concern but apart from that the room's ac was making strange noise. we switched rooom and it was the same noise. Which means their AC units were noisy in overall. The staff was co-operative but the hotel condition was not good.
Bathroom had cobwebs in the corner and long hair in the shower. Hand towels and bath towels were dirty. Floor was unswept. Pillow cases were stained. A kid was screaming and running down the sidewalk at midnight. A crowd was partying outside our room from 2-6 am. Will never stay here again!
Bugs...flying around and dead ones ..also a terrible smoke smell...I reported it and was told housekeeping would be sent in to spray while I went out for breakfast and came back and there was still bugs ..my stay was 2 days but management didn't offer to change rooms.. discount or anything
