A welcomed welcome.
Loved the decor and comfy rooms (I slept like a dream!). The pool looked pristine and so inviting but was sadly closed for the evening by the time we arrived. We especially appreciated “a room for all” messaging, eco-friendly efrorts ie. ceramic mugs as opposed to paper cups in the rooms, recycling containers everywhere and that cans and bottles would be donated to a local youth organization- love this!

This property was very cute and clean. Staff wonderful. We got there a little early and I was surprised how accommodating they were. Our room was ready within 15 min. This was a great location and I would definitely stay again.

Solid value…retro vibes
Motel Bear Lake is like being in a time warp, in a good way. It’s no frills, but it’s convenient, clean and comfortable. We couldn’t get a room at Arcadia Bluffs, so we stayed here. 10 minutes to the Bluffs course. The check-in and check-out process was fast and easy. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

We loved staying here. The owner provides anything that you might think of that you will need during your stay here. The room was spacious, very clean and a nice little retro feel to it even though modern enough. Very quiet. Will stay here whenever we are in the area again. Be sure to check out the murals that are on the back of the building. The only issue was that the TV was hard to figure out how to use it, needs to be a little more user-friendly

What did I like about the prortuThis property was just beautiful. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and that they are dog friendly. This is a work in progress hotel as of 2024 which is what they said in the email, but you can hardly tell since the room we had was just adorable. They did hang new room numbers while we were at the beach. So that was the progress we saw. What I didn't like is that they advertise as lgbtq friendly. I didn't understand why that matters since you are just renting a room. But it did slightly scare me that we might show up and it was going to be shoved down my throat since that happens so much now days. Plus I instantly thought how I would be afraid of what I might see during pride month after hearing and seeing how the parades go. And advertising Narcan makes me wonder what type of people might have been here before me, which did make me nervous for my kids.

Great Motel
Great Motel that was clean and quiet even though it looked fully booked. It was our first stay at a motel over a big fancy chain and it delivered as the pictures and reviews promised.

A nice place to stay.
The motel was ok. There is no staff member on site most of the time, but they have a supply closet with extras. The rooms have been redone to a 1960s decor. They were ok, but could have been nicer. The beds are on the hard side, but the room was clean. They are still remodeling the outside, so it was still a bit rough. Overall an ok stay, especially with very few options in the area.

Floor in room was slanted not sure built that way or if it is a problem. Not very good lighting. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Parking area is very small. A Lot of road traffic noise. Very small bathroom especially where the toilet is located. Banged knee on tp holder several times. Overall for the cost of room. Not impressed. We actually let a day early because I did not want to sleep in that bed another night.
