I have used VRBO for over 10 years and this is the first time I have ever arrived at a home and didn’t have the code to enter the door.
I emailed the property owner twice and received no response. I called the phone number listed in the email twice, which went to voicemail.
At 5:00, one hour after we should have been able to enter the property, I received an email from the property owner’s representative that said “there must have been a glitch in the VRBO automation.” After renting over 20 other properties, I have never had that to happen.
Then I called the VRBO helpline and talked with a very helpful representative Rish. She was able to help me receive the door code and enter the home around 5:30.
This is the 3rd year in a row we have stayed at this same property in Beaufort NC and we have never had such difficulties.
