We are centrally located between Watkins Glen, Corning and Hammondsport New York which are fun to visit during the fall and winter months! Come and spend time in our beautiful Finger Lakes and only minutes drive to the Watkins Glen race track and State Park, Seneca and Keuka Lakes, Corning Museum of Glass among many other activities - great festivals and marathons, wine and beer tasting, races, museums and shopping, fishing, horseback riding ~ lots of fun stuff to do! The Finger Lakes region is hopping with fun during the cooler months! All of these fun cities are minutes drive from the rental. We're also a short drive to several of the Finger Lakes - Seneca, Keuka, Lamoka and Waneta. The shopping districts are open as well as the wineries and breweries. We are close to so many activities in the beautiful Finger Lakes region. Tour the wineries or you can go hiking or horseback riding on the state forest trails within walking distance from our rental! There's so much to do near this rental! Visit the Finger Lakes region for your next fall/winter getaway! Our cozy rental is a family-friendly home and you're close to many outdoor areas, local restaurants, wineries and breweries. This location is walking distance to Goundry Hill State Forest land use area which provides 2100+ acres for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, archery and hunting. We have lots of parking for boat, snowmobile and horse trailers. The rental has been newly renovated with accommodations for up to 6. As stated above, plenty of parking with room for horse, snowmobile and boat trailers. There is FREE Wi-Fi, Firestick for TV, washer/dryer, fire pit, grill and fully-stocked kitchen. All bedding and towels are provided, as well as paper products and basic spices are available too. We also provide a nice selection of coffee, cocoa and tea onsite to enjoy a hot beverage when you want it! You are only a few minutes away from civilization with great dining, spas, stores, museums, Watkins Glen International Race track, Seneca, Keuka and several smaller lakes and many state parks. You will never be bored. This vacation rental is centrally located within minutes to Watkins Glen, Corning, and Hammondsport NY. As hosts we let you have your privacy and you will only see us if you need us, we are a few miles away but can assist as needed.

Corning Wineglass Half weekend getaway
Quiet and relaxing. Perfect spot for what we needed. Midway between Corning.and Watkins Glen. Both wonderful to visit for different reasons, and basically all we had time for this visit. Kelly was wonderful to work with, even accommodating a late departure so that we could shower after the race before our drive back to PA. Thanks for sharing your cozy space.

Awesome Girls Weekend!
Best Stay Ever!!! Spent 2 nights for our girls weekend trip (3 ladies over 50). The cabin is clean, comfortable, with lots of little extras that made for a great experience. We loved the fire pit and appreciate the ingredients Kelly provided us to make smores. Fire wood was available on the back porch for only $5 so we didnt have to search for wood or try to buy it somewhere else. Additionally, Kelly provides a lighter and fire starter bricks to get the fire going. All of this was extremely convenient and much appreciated! We had a great time relaxing by the fire and drinking wine after a long day out. The livingroom has 3 comfy oversized chairs and a sofa, perfect for kicking back and relaxing. We loved that there was a firestick already installed on the TV allowing us to sign into our Netflix and watch movies. There is also a dvd player with a great selection of adult and kid movies to watch, along with a deck of cards and games to play. Beds were all super comfy, too, with 3 nice sized bedrooms. We loved having a Keurig with a selection of K Cups to choose from. Kelly and Duane were punctual with responding to our questions and just incredibly kind. Our stay at Ayers Acres exceeded our expectations! Everything was perfect! Most of all, though, we felt right at home. Such a great experience! Book this place! You wont regret it!

We had a rainy weekend so it was nice to be in a cozy, dry place. Had a beautiful walk at Watkins Glen. I loved the decor in what I call the red room. House has thoughtful decor. Also liked French press coffee maker.

Wood's Edge - You'll love it!
The owners of Wood's Edge were in contact quickly after I booked, and were very responsive the whole time we were there. Not that we needed much because Wood's Edge provides everything you could possibly need for a quick trip like we did, or a two week stay! Very clean, decorated very nicely, made us feel like we were home. We used the fire pit twice, which was a highlight for us. The rural area is very quiet but not far from the things we wanted to do, which suited us just fine. I look forward to going again next year, but this time we'll stay for a week or more - so much to do in the Finger Lakes region!

Cute trailer home in very quiet area
This was a very clean home, with streaming TV, plenty of soft towels, blankets and sheets, a tiny but functional bathroom, and a very organized kitchen. The owners left a personalized note to welcome our family and they gave a gift to my 5 year old daughter (coloring book and crayons) so she had an activity during our stay. Very sweet hosts! Easy to find and access home, and, very peaceful and beautiful surrounding property.

A quiet retreat
As this was our third stay at Woods Edge, we obviously love this place! Kelly is the perfect host. Her place reflects her personal care of this property. It is so clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. All you need for a long weekend or a week is there. There is wonderful outdoor space with a porch and a nice fire pit and there are camp chairs for use. Although it seems in the middle of nowhere (peaceful), it is not far from wineries, restaurants, and hiking. I highly recommend Woods Edge. I can’t wait to enjoy it again!

Beautiful cottage in the country
Wood's Edge was the perfect spot for our visit to the area for the NASCAR race at Watkins Glen. Kelly and Duane were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is beautifully decorated and surprisingly spacious. The kitchen is better stocked and organized than mine at home! Immaculately clean and very cozy. Only 10 minutes to the race track and 20 minutes to grocery stores and eateries, but we just grilled all weekend. Highly recommend!

Great spot for a family vacation
The home is very clean and well appointed with everything you need for your stay. The location is great in that you have your quiet nights by the fire, but are a short drive from every nearby attraction. Kelly Jo is a pleasure to communicate with from check in to check out. I will definitely stay here when I return to the Finger Lakes area.

Some friends and I were up for Winefest weekend. Home was very clean and comfortable. Not far from Watkins Glen, but out of the way and quiet. Perfect for relaxing after the crowds at Winefest.

Perfect Getaway Spot
From the moment we got on the property, we loved this house and felt right at home! This whole house was adorable. The living room was cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and we loved sitting on the porch for just coffee or full meals! We were there for a “girls long-weekend” and the location was perfect… just far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to the lakes, parks, restaurants and shopping to do everything we wanted to do. We especially loved Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake! If I was going to offer a suggestion to the next renter, it would be to bring an “Amazon Fire TV Stick” so you can watch TV, like we did. There IS good WiFi and a Smart TV! The bottom line? YES, we WOULD rent this house again if we came back to the area! We loved it!
