This was the worst stay in my trip through the UK. The hostel was a good 30 minute walk from downtown, very cramped room for 6 people to fit in. There wasn't even a bin for the garbage bag. This place only makes sense for those going to visit folks at the university.
A very uncomfortable stay and forgettable experience. The hostel (and especially the bathroom) is easily the worst I have ever stayed in - water that would intermittently turn freezing cold, uncleaned floors and walls, a single toilet shared between two floors that had a broken light and no toilet paper for a whole day - all in the space of a bathroom AND toilet with a large window and no covering looking directly over a children's playground. Completely unacceptable. The bathroom is also shared between male and female, with no protection - leaving many female guests feeling unsafe.
Breakfast is a frozen loaf of bread and microwaved sausages, and the rooms have broken blinds and lights throughout.
The bed was however comfortable and some select staff were helpful when required. If it wasn't for everywhere else in Belfast being booked out, I would have left immediately and can't stress enough that others need to look elsewhere until this place improves itself.
comfortable and easygoing, especially I love their kitchen. There are all what you need if you want to cook and all tools are clean. Toilet is only one per room, it should be outside as well. Easy breakfast for two or three choices, toasts, ham or sausage, cheese and boiled egg. Drink is for free.
We got a two bed ensuite room which was perfect for our needs. Very inexpensive. The location is pretty good, at 30 min walk from the city. There is parking available. The breakfast consists of toast + jam/pb. But if you want something bigger, go to Maggie May's for a big Ulster Fry!

Cheap place to lay your head
This hostel was not as close to the city centre as it seemed on the map, it is quite a walk. It is nice and quiet but there is not too much around. The hostel room had a broken window above one of the beds that would not fully shut, when it is cold and rainy this is not an ideal problem to have. Bathroom was a bit damp. If you are just looking for a place to sleep this will work.

Clean rooms, close to Queen's Belfast University
The hostel was very clean. The amenities were very good as well. The rooms were clean, and fairly spacious. There were small, drawers for your stuff underneath the beds which I thought was a nice touch. The showers were not particularly clean as I saw black mould growing in the corners. The staff was okay but not whatI would call friendly. It was a little out of the way of the city centre but there are buses going to the city centre, fairly frequently. Also if you want to, you can walk it without too much trouble.
If you are in Belfast for a day or two on a budget, I would recommend this hostel for your stay.
