The front desk staff were super kind and helpful throughout our stay as well as the bussing staff throughout our breakfast! I wish the hotel itself would get with the times, it’s in desperate need of an update and facelift.

We went for new years with some family and had a really good time. Our only complaint was the pools were supposed to be heated and the shallower pool that would of been great for all our kids was freezing cold so everyone came to the other pool they was a little warmer and we had to make sure we all stayed to the side because the bigger kids were jumping into the pool and off the walls and not watching out for the smaller kids.

My family and I spent two nights at The Embassy Suites on the Plaza in KC. The first 24 hours we did not have any hot water. That caused a slight problem when you have 3 teenagers. The reception Hour was not what I remembered in past visits to Embassy Suites. There was very little to chose from the appetizers and the drinks were served in 4 oz plastic cups. With 2 being the limit why bother. Definitely not what it used to be. Next time I will pay a little more and stay at better quality hotel.

Very disappointed with our stay. No hot water and very cold pool. The room waa clean and staff was friendly. But having to take a cold shower was not ideal and the pool wqs to cold to enjoy for long. It was atleast clean. There was also a "skunk" smell in several rooms and that was disappointing since there were kids and families in this hotel.

I’ve stayed here before and it was fine. However this was the worst stay ever. The hotel had NO HOT WATER in the building. Guest weren’t even told until you were checking in. Then say maintenance is working on it and give a time frame and it’s not completed in that time. No updates to the guest rooms. Swim and the can’t even wash the chlorine off your body due to the water. Pool was ICE COLD but only the pool closet to the door. NO Towels getting out the pool. I was very DISAPPOINTED.

I was overcharged by $1,500.00 and when I brought the error to management’s attention they told me to that there was nothing they could do and directed me to my bank to dispute the charges. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Was surprised when we arrived to find out they add an additional $50 deposit per night to your card and then charge $23 for parking per night. No where on expedias page did it say there was a charge for parking. Our refrigerator in the room was not cold so we didnt use it. Getting out of the parking lot is horrible if you try to turn left because the entrance to the lobby is also right there and they have bushes that hang way into the road. The hot breakfast was okay. Our first morning the potatoes were cold. The hotel defiantely needs to be renovated and updated.
