Bluebird Day - Kokanee Cottage

The Kokanee Cottage is tucked into a quaint and quiet neighborhood on Bend's popular Westside. Walk to local craft breweries, restaurants and boutiques from this charming Craftsman-style two-bedroom home! 

The Kokanee is a fully restored craftsman bungalow with beautiful hardwood floors, an open living and dining area as well as a large, fully-equipped kitchen. The south western exposure provides plenty of light in the open layout. Perfect for active guests, the cottage features a full-sized washer and dryer, one-car attached garage and an on demand water heater. The wide front porch is perfect for watching the day go by - Bend style. Grab a local craft beer and cook on the BBQ to enjoy an unforgettable evening with family and friends! 

Other amenities include WiFi, DVD player, streaming capable TV, and Bluetooth sound bar. The 1 Master King and 1 Queen Bedrooms have brand new comfy beds with European style down bedding, fresh and clean duvet covers and high thread count linens. The two bedrooms share a full-size bathroom with organic products provided. 

Need more space for a bigger crew? The Kokanee Cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps 4. The Hummingbird Cottage next door has one bedroom and sleeps 2.  Both houses can be booked together, the full property sleeps 6. * Additional Rates apply for the separate one bedroom - Hummingbird Cottage. 

Take a stroll through the charming Westside neighborhood to 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Nancy P’s Bakery, Chow (the locals Fav!), Kanpai Sushi, and Backporch Coffee. Great stay for Bend and Bachelor vacation

Lovely, convenient, house in a great neighborhood with easy walking access to local restaurants, river and parks, and the shuttle up to Bachelor. We enjoyed not having to get in our car for almost our entire stay!

Great, simple 2BR cottage with full kitchen and living space. Very comfortable and made a weekend trip to Bend super easy. Conveniently located on the west side and walking distance to bars and restaurants.

Quaint and Clean

Bluebird cottage was well appointed, clean and comforable. We have stayed at several rental properties that have felt tired and old. Bluebird cottage is well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the cottage was cozy. We appreciated the garage as we went up to Mt Bachelor skiing every day. The property management company was very responsive and helpful. Only issue I have is all of the add on fees that VRBO charges. It really reachets up the price.

Well suited to families

We've stayed at many houses around Westside as we revisit our old stomping grounds of Bend. This house is clean and comfortable. Well positioned to quickly get to parks, restaurants and across the river to downtown easily. Close to grocery stores and markets. Garage was useful to store our e-bike rentals. Highly recommend.

Perfect Location

This rental was just perfect for us. We could walk to both downtown and the Old Mill District very easily. Check in went without a hitch. Perfect for one or two couples or a small family. Lovely quiet neighborhood. We will definitely rent again! Highly recommend.

Welcoming Bend Getaway

The home is everything our family needed for our 4 day stay in beautiful Bend. The house was lovely, clean, organized and everything was laid out easily for us to find what we needed. 2nd stay in this nice home

We stayed 10 days on this visit and 11 days last august. Comfortable home, great location and the garage to safely store our bikes is a huge plus. Walk or bike to Safeway, 10 barrel, el Sancho, old mill, Drake park and downtown, etc. Never drive anywhere when we stay here. Comfortable beds, great heating/cooling system. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay

The Kokanee Cottage was perfect for our visit to Bend. It is close to an eclectic shopping center with restaurants, groceries, coffee shops and an eclectic mix of lounges, a performing venue and local craft beer, wine and distilleries. We rode bikes 10 min into downtown or one could walk in about 20-30 min. Bend was fantastic with many things to do outdoors and indoors, highly recommended to work with Bluebird Day as they are true professionals and very responsive. The house is well maintained and renovated has everything you might need, and if something is missing call Bluebird and they will address any issues that might arise.
