The staff were very helpful. The hotel was very clean. The restaurant downstairs had delicious food. We loved that we could walk to restaurants and shops. There were a lot of dogs barking outside of the hotel in the middle of the night but that’s out of the hotel’s control. Parking was a little bit hard but the staff was helpful in assisting us.

Just under the foot of the fortress hill. Walk 10 minutes you can get the impression of the old town. Very good location

The room is clean and good. The toilet is average and small but does the job. Overall good experience, and it's in the heart of Berat city. So that we can walk and enjoy around the city.

Staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful woodwork with wood ceilings - so gorgeous! Parking in front of hotel. Walking accessible to all old town sites. Great price!

Friendly comfort in Berat
Friendly staff welcomed me to their clean and comfortable hotel. Spacious accommodation, great food, and very good location so everything was an easy walk, even up the hill to the Castle!

The hotel has a great location, near the bottom of the hill leading up to the castle but out of the busyness of the streets at the river level. The rooms are spacious and nicely styled and the breakfast was ample and varied.

Really beautiful hotel, in one of the historic buildings of old Berat. Easy parking with the car. Beautiful rooms, recently renovated following the traditional Berat style. Maybe the only small issue was the bad smell coming from the bathroom at different times

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at On Fri Hotel. The room was very nice, with a wall of windows looking out on the town and a decorative wood ceiling. The hotel was very conveniently located for walking to the touristic sites in Berat and the free parking worked well. The staff was very attentive and helpful and the breakfast was good. The hotel was a highlight of our 4 week tour of Albania and North Macedonia.

Perfect location to discover the beauties of Berat. The hotel id close to both the museum and the castle. The family owned hotel is run with dedication, pride, and a real care for its guests. The food is excellent. The service is top notch. Well done !

Best hotel experience and value in Albania.
I can't recommend thise hotel enough, lovely venue, comfortable, great view and above all the service and hospitality, Denisa the owner and Antonio the breakfast waiter were always ready to help and make our stay pleasurable. Breakfast was amazing with many choices, table service, something you get only in Top world hotels. They even gave us a jar of honey when we asked about the amazing wilde honey they served us. We can't wait to go back again.

Fantastic location and amazing breakfast
Spacious rooms overlooking the valley with friendly service and great value for money. The breakfast was amazing especially the warm Petulla doughnuts. Stay if not for these alone!

Wish we could have stayed longer
This place is Lovely! From check in to check out they took such good care of us. EC was the staff member that made it wonderful. He served us our lunch and breakfast (both wonderful) and gave us info on what to see and and how best to proceed. The building is old but was totally rebuilt 4 years ago. They did an amazing job of keeping the traditional old character yet updating the windows, bathrooms and electronics to modern comfort standards. The AC is great and the wifi fast and glitch-les. Look at my picture of the ceiling woodwork. The location is perfect for a walk down the walking street, across the river on the pedestrian bridges to see the old city, and a strenuous walk through the old city. The hotel does NOT use floral scented cleaning supplies so it was easy to breath. The bed was so comfortable and the soundproofing effective so we had such a good night's sleep.
