The apartment was very clean , spacious and tidy, fit for a family. No parking near the hotel, the only place to park is about 7 min walk from the place and we had to do several rounds with the car to find a suitable spot.

Lovely clean and comfortable
Our stay at Academia was lovely, it’s in a perfect location to explore both Citta Alta & Citta Bassa. Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable and I would definitely recommend to others. Breakfast was not offered even though the booking information says it was available at an extra charge and we could not see it being served in the mornings. Citta Alta is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth visiting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

I was not happy with my stay in this hotel because
I was not happy with my stay in this hotel because: 1. It didn’t have hot water late in the evening and when it was, slow to get to our room 2. I was reservation included breakfast but they told in the resection that it was not included in the price and we paid extra 3. the second day of our stay the breakfast buffet did not open at all. 4. We charged a city tax of 10 € extra when they wrote in the charges that they were all paid. 5 wi-fi with problems.... I'm not going to go back to this hotel. I'm sorry.

Friendly welcome and good value
Excellent value small hotel in a very good location very close to the art galleries and only a few minutes walk to the Alta Città. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with information about the local area and good local restaurants. They also provide a good breakfast. Room was a decent size and quite spacious, although a few details could have been better - bed was two singles pushed together and there is a fan rather than proper a/c - but these didn’t really detract from a very pleasant stay.

Great spot for exploring beautiful Bergamo!
Great location to explore Bergamo. Centrally located between the train station and the città alta (the historic city center up on the hill). There are a handful of good restaurants and bars nearby and the beautiful Carrara museum is very near. To explore from here does require some walking, but the price was much more reasonable than trying to find one of the limited places to stay in the città alta. Friendly staff and a beautiful, quiet room, but unfortunately no air conditioning. Living in Italy, I am used to that though! WiFi was very weak and I really could not use it. I would stay again despite the few problems!
