We stayed for 3 nights in August. Room was for 3 people. Beds were very comfortable, including extra bed they brought in for our teen daughter. Room had two large windows and a sitting area which was great after a long day of sight seeing, as well as in room coffee, tea and toiletries.
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing! Wide range of foods and everything was delicious. Had free espresso, cappucinos, lattes etc in lounge. Lobby was a nice place to sit as was lounge. Steps away from Bryggen but quiet even with windows open. Lots of good restaurants nearby and close to funicular.
Only negative was there were many large tour groups. We would have a coffee in lobby or lounge until they moved out of breakfast area.
