Was disappointed by the state of the hotel- our shower drain never worked, meaning we had to have 3 min showers or less before it overflowed. Our towels and sheets were made when staff came in but our dishes/dirty glasses lay in the sink all week... while the hotel does not supply dish soap in the room, why werent these replaced? On a positive note, the location is fantastic. Lots of great cafes, resto, shopping etc within a walking distance plus it was very easy to catch a RE, S-Bahn or Ubahn from Zoo.

Room 430 had mold on the bathroom ceiling along with a strong mildew smell. There was remnants of a leaky ceiling in the room with bunk beds.

A quaint little hotel room wonderfully located near the main parts of the city. It had a wonderful breakfast buffet for €14 The staff was wonderful. Another positive is they held your luggage after checkout so we could enjoy the city without toting our luggage everywhere.

Check in was ok & the desk friendly enough. Room was stifling hot with only a small fan. Carpet was stained & worn. Bed horrendously uncomfortable & against the wall so if your on inside unlucky. The shower was nice & hot but the cubicle was falling apart & closing the doors was an exercise in itself. Breakfast was overpriced in my opinion but nice enough but theres plenty of alternatives near by. My advice would be to shop around for a better hotel not listed on the major sites, you'll find better for cheaper price

Great hotel with sink basin/stove kitchenette. Clean, orderly, all amenities present, including a small oscillating fan and of course, a kettle and fridge. Bathroom and linens were clean and fresh. Deducted one star for the shared street construction mess (and obnoxious noises) as it was not disclosed about the property at time of booking. Lovely breakfast spread and dining area. Nice outdoor area for sitting.

This place is lovely and convenient and has all good clean facilities. Staff are friendly but check in service needs some modernising. Very slow!

If you need somewhere basic and cheap to stay, this is fairly convenient as there are several bus stops nearby, a U-Bahn a short walk away, the Zoo is 10 minutes walk and there's a cheap supermarket and takeout places too. The room itself looked nothing like what was advertised, felt dirty and the pillows were awful. Would stay again but only in a pinch.
