Comfortable rooms, well connected by train

The hotel is a few minutes away from Ostbahnof station which connects to the whole city and has direct trains to the airport too. The East side gallery is also a few minutes walk away. Room was a good size, comfortable bed and pillows. Shower had great pressure and water was hot. Free complementary drink for guests offered. The lobby was very lively and buzzing at all times, lots of cool areas to hang. My room looked onto the parking lot which wasn’t a great view BUT it was quiet so good if you’re a light sleeper. The negatives - the area doesn’t really have much to do except for the east side gallery (but as I said before it is well connected by buses/trains). I didn’t try the breakfast but it was €18 (a bit pricey in my opinion given its mostly continental). I had to wait a bit when checking-in as there was only one person at the bar (and checkin area). Would’ve been fine except I wasn’t acknowledged which isn’t the best welcome. However another member of staff came and served me quickly when he saw I had been waiting. Just would’ve been nice to have been acknowledged when I arrived.

Great location to the biggest sites in Berlin

Great location in Berlin, bus and train station just a short walk away. The main lobby is really nice and welcoming and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean, smart TVs can only link up to YouTube, no other apps available. All in all comfortable stay.

Not worth what I paid

A very modern hotel but I had two single beds and they were way too soft and the pillows were not comfy at all. No wardrobe no draws no mini fridge and for the cost of the hotel that’s not good. The WiFI is barely usable I couldn’t even stream music on my iPad let alone anything else. Not sure I’d stay again.

Staff is amazingly friendly. The person that checked me in was wonderful, attentive and super helpful. Found a room for me super quickly. Breakfast we nice and the train station is directly next door. No complaints at all and I will stay here again.

The staff were really lovely and offered us a free welcomed drink. We booked the Queen Bed room which was small, but very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was very powerful, which we loved! The hotel is near one of the main train station which is very convenient if you are travelling from the Berlin airport. The immediate surroundings are not the prettiest but you are near the East Side Gallery. Holzmarkt 25 is a short walk from the hotel a great place for a drink and food by the river - a little hidden gem!

Excellent hotel with amazing service and comfort. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the staff service is great. Only thing I would say is the breakfast should be cheaper. It is great but not worth the price tag.
