I was told room cooling was being fixed, so it was a little warm during the summer. My room was also facing the street, so it was a bit loud from the tram and ambulances with the windows open. With the windows closed, it was much more tolerable. Location was awesome, very convenient. Staff was friendly. Nice bar downstairs.

Loved the style of the rooms, bar and common areas. Staff were friendly & helpful, but never in your face - perfect. Trams and subway right out the front doors. Plenty of dining options in the neighbourhood.

No air conditioning in extreme heat
No air conditioning in 100-degree weather! The a/c was broken and they couldn't get somebody to fix it until after I was leaving. It was about 90 degrees in my room. I ended up leaving right away and going to another hotel and they still tried to bill me, but then graciously gave me my money back after I pushed back.

Great hotel at a super fun location
Hotel was absolutely first rate. Staff were fantastic and responsive. Room was wonderful. Love the location… lots of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Very lively location! My only negative is that the breakfast offered at the lobby is way overpriced at €25 for a continental breakfast. For half that you can get a real breakfast within a few minutes walk.

The Circus is a quirky hotel that ticks most boxes. Very friendly helpful staff, clean and reasonably well situated it is let down massively by the lack of air conditioning. We did have a fan in the room and fully opening windows. But, although we had a fourth floor room that was great it overlooked the main junction, and the trams were very noisy. Getting a good comfortable nights sleep wasn’t easy. And breakfast was expensive. We chose to eat at more reasonably priced local cafes.

This hotel is an EXPERIENCE!
This hotel is absolute eye candy! Beautifully curated experience that was also just plain fun. My room was super tiny, but in a perfectly functional cute way. The location is great for food options and reasonably convenient for touring the city. Breakfast is definitely a highlight.

Our second stay at the Circus, now expanded, and I wouldn’t think about staying elsewhere. An informal, relaxed vibe combined with professional and well-informed service. Very quiet despite location in a lively area steps from a U-Bahn entrance and a convenient tram line; also walkable. Delicious breakfasts, comfy lounge and bar area. Slept well and throughly enjoyed a week’s stay.
