Villa Martelli is located on a small hilltop town in the Basilicata region of Southern Italy, this late

The two-level palazzo vibes with a relaxing atmosphere and it includes a heated pool surrounded by lush vegetation, a solarium, an outside bar, a manicured garden and nine bedrooms decorated in elegant style with hand-painted frescos walls. All of the interiors underwent a major renovation combining clean lines and decor, so the palazzo today features an international, refined style, unique, with historic vaulted living rooms and elegant large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The home design has been approached with research in the historical context results in a new- classic style, recalling the traditional southern typology, a contemporary influence however, has transformed this house in a modern yet very comfortable, chic retreat full of light and a welcoming vibe, blending tradition and modern Italian Architecture.

THE REVIEW
La famiglia. The minut you arrive you feel like you’ve been welcomed into a family members home for a visit... but clearly a really awesome family member! Whether it’s the kitchen that’s open for you to watch, eat in or experience how to make fresh
homemade pasta or the living room where you can enjoy a drink and watch a movie! The service is IMPECCABLE! A day trip to Alberobello and to make pottery was a lovely excursion.
YOUR CONCIERGE’S TO-DO LIST
Italy has great energy that comes from mixing history with so many different people from all over the world. And, well as the restaurants, shopping, and nearby nature, people’s perceptions are also mesmerized of what a culturally rich area this is in terms of museums, architecture, and art. We recommend the traditional Fontan di Noce and, for those who prefer a local-chic atmosphere, the starred Vitantonio Lombardo. Sneak to Rionero in Vulture for a wine tasting in Cantine del Notaio. Possible activities
include hiking, cycling, and experience the Torremattoni adventure park.
• Metaponto 15 Km (15’), Metaponto is located by the Ionian Coast on the road linking Potenza and Matera with Taranto. It is composed by the main village and Metaponto Lido, the beach area. Between them there are located the ruins of Metapontum
• Craco 33 Km (34’)
• Matera 40 Km (40’)
• Ostuni 112 KM (85’)
• Pollino National Park 141 Km (110’)
• Lecce 165 Km (105’)
• Bari Airport 101 Km (80’)
• Brindisi Airport 130 Km (90’)
• Naples Airport 256 Km (190’)
Within 30 minutes by car from the property, many miles of sandy beaches extend along the cobalt-blue shores of the Ionian Sea, here an equipped beach club offers umbrellas or gazebo, is a partner with the villa and offers a perfect occasion to relax on the shore. Pic-nic food can be prepared at the villa for a fun occasion with children, or suite yourself on beach club restaurant serving fisherman’s fresh fish of the day.
Matera, the most outstanding, intact example of a troglodyte settlement in the Mediterranean region, is a city on a rocky outcrop in the region of Basilicata, in
southern Italy. Overlooking the Ionian sea to the east, it borders with the Apulia Region to the north (specifically, the Provinces of Bari and Taranto), the Province of Potenza to the west, and Calabria (Province of Cosenza) to the south.. It includes the Sassi area, a
complex of cave dwellings carved into the mountainside. Evacuated in 1952 due to
poor living conditions, the Sassi now houses museums like the Casa Grotta di Vico Solitario, with period furniture and artisan tools. Nearby rock churches include St. Lucia alle Malve, with 13thcentury frescoes.
The following might be to be paid extra: Airport Pickup, Continental Breakfast, Cook, Pre-arrival grocery service, Refundable Security Deposit by credit card, Tourist tax.
