Had such a lovely stay at this hotel. It was the perfect rest stop for all the activities north Wales has to offer. After walking up Snowdon the lovely bath was needed and the comfy bed was perfect to rest up for the next day. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The staff were very friendly and overall the place exceeded expectations.
Fabulous breakfast, lovely warm reception and serv
Such a wonderful stay at this hotel. All the staff are fabulous, warm and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Have breakfast if you can, it is lovely. Rooms clea, Beds comfy and bathroom lovely. Dogs were welcome everywhere and made a fuss of also so they settled very easily in new surroundings. In a beautiful location with picture windows in the dining area. Good parking, remember to register vehicle registration at reception on arrival so parking is free.
From check in to check out the stay was amazing, staff so friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to make it a great stay, from recommending walks, finding games for us and reserving us a table for dinner when we had forgotten to. Food was actually the best I’ve had in a long time, proper wholesome home cooked and tasty. Bed, room and bathroom all clean and comfortable.
The staff are an absolute credit to this place, very welcoming.
recently refurbed, all good and nice staff. Pub area very busy now, good food

Great place to stay
Fantastic place to stay. Friendly staff, great breakfast, very comfortable room and bed, spotless bathroom and free parking. Ideal stay for short drive to Snowdon. Definitely recommended.
Some staff were very friendly and efficient, others not so much. Would be better if breakfast were included within the price from the get go. The hotel is pretty secluded in that there are alternative hostelries to explore locally. However, if you are prepared to drive then Bettws y Coed is quite close. This hotel is the perfect launching place to walk Moel Siabod.

Wonderful check in experience. Lady was lovely and really helpful.
Rooms needed a series of minor works…beds extremely noisy, creaking literally every time you moved, toilet seat sliding off to the side, what I assume was a smoke alarm flashed all night, friend’s room was full of small flies.
