Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. The king size bed was so comfortable and black out curtains were great. The bungalow had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were right on the road front and overlooked the blowholes. We were within walking distance to the town, whalers lookout and the gulch. It was a short drive back to Frecynet National Park. Service was excellent as we arrived on the public holiday but were kept up to date with opening times and how to access our rooms as we came in after the office had closed. This accommodation exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend Bicheno by the Bay to anyone looking at exploring the region.

Very cozy setting. Since there is no dishwasher. Some forks and knives weren't cleaned properly by previous guests at all. However, the cleaner has to check as well. A dishwasher will certainly help.

This is a beautiful accommodation site with separate units throughout the site. The unit was very, clean and well-appointed with on-site parking under a carport. It had a separate kitchen - dining room, loungeroom, bedroom and bathroom. It is very close to shops, clubs and other attractions.

Location was on point. Good distance to amenities and the blowhole was a plus 😌 Amazing views which made for great photo opps. Winter electric blankets were a welcome feature for the cold nights during winter. Beds were super comfy 💖 Communication was limited but instructions very clear and simple to follow. On the other hand, a couple of points stopped us from a 5/5 experience= *our apartment oven wasn't in working condition and needs to be looked at. Made a loud noise when the fan was going overtime and after 1hr of trying to roast veges, we opted for the electric frypan. Note- we have young kids, veges are important for them and us to have vs eating out while on holidays *Kitchen window lock was faulty and easy to open from the outside. Hubby put a piece of wood to stop it from opening for security *Maybe some blinds in the bottom level and also by the toilet/bathroom plus the kitchen window would help for privacy and safety. *Laundry was great for washing but the coin dryer was below expectation. We paid $9 for a full load to be dried and then some were still wet after that. A dry rack in the apartment helped overnight to get the rest sorted but we also had the aircon on a warmer heat to help Awesome stay for our family and hopefully we're back for a summer stay when it's warmer ☀️

Love love loved my stay at Bicheno. Accommodation was massive for one person and so cute. Wish I had stayed longer. Easy to walk along the ocean side and close to seafood restaurants. (Chowder at the Lobster Shack was delish). Would love to return in the summertime.

Free laundry facilities was a huge plus! Didn't like that I was unable to lock the door from the inside but the room was really spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was also great! Didn't really interact with the staff much as the desk isn't manned for long. Parking was good and plentiful too.

The communication from Bicheno by the Bay was exceptional, making our check-in and checkout very simple (even considering we arrived after their reception had closed). We were given a larger room than we had booked, which was really lovely. It was well appointed with all the amenities we needed. It's situated in a great location close to all the local attractions and facilities (like the IGA). They provided a map of the local area and recommendations for where to go. We would happily stay here again.

We stayed in the shack, if you want a shiny, modern apartment dont stay here. If you want a stunning location with ourstanding views and dont mind basic accomodation this is the place for you. Comfy bed and lovely bedding, clean and tidy. We loved it and wished we had stayed longer. They even sell their own hiney at reception
