AeroBear Den- Fenced Pup Friendly yard with Hot Tub

Hello from AeroBear Den! We are a stone throw away from the convention center (Oktoberfest, Wyatts bbq dancing, farmers market), and walking distance to restaurants, mercantile, and a short drive to most places.

Fully fenced backyard(5 ft chainlink) yard has wood chips.

Stocked kitchen for most your cooking needs.

All bedding provided along with 4 bath towels, dish soap, paper towels, and kitchen towels are included.

Covid Info 2/4/21- current date 2021- We are still permitted to allow guests into our home. Outdoor activities are operating (lift tickets purchase online, limited availability). Restaurants are only takeout or delivery. There are a few extra restrictions.
1-Groceries should be purchased at your local store prior to traveling. This will reduce the strain on our community.
2-Absolutely no parties.
3-Please follow and respect guidelines set regarding social distancing and masks.
4-Spa hours are 7A-10P (we don't like it either, but its a restriction placed upon us.)

Violation of the restrictions will result in eviction without refund.

Our strict cancellation policy is still in affect. Any cancellations requesting full refund, will need to provide proper documentation to the hosting site(SavvyBears, Airbnb, Vrbo). We will NOT cancel your reservation for you.

All requests to change date, must be done a minimum of 14 days before your stay. Prices may change due to change of date.

If you instant book, you assume responsibility that all restrictions will be followed. We will not be responsible for any eviction, fine, or inconvenience due to disregarding the restrictions placed for Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City.

The Home- 620 Sq Ft. Waterproof flooring throughout home. Two bedrooms, one bath.

Kitchen- Full sized Fridge, gas stove, microwave, compact dishwasher, toaster, drip coffee maker, to help you enjoy meals at home if you choose to do so. Fully stocked with utensils, cookware, and dishware. A starter pack of paper towels, and trashbags are provided. Along with dish soap, coffee grounds, sugar, and pup treats for good furkids.

Dining- 2 counter top seats. Table for 3.

Living Room- Leather couch, fireplace, and, large flat screen, with basic cable, and Roku.

Bathroom- Shower/Bath combo. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton rounds, cotton swabs, and floss picks. We do provide limited hand towels and wash cloths. 4 Bath towels are provided. (Not for lake use, please bring extra for lake use.)

Bedroom 1- Queen bed, with 3 drawer dresser, and closet. Access to backyard through sliding glass door.

Bedroom 2- Bunkbed, with 2 full sized beds, 3 drawer dresser, and closet.

Yard- Fully fenced backyard with 5ft chainlink. 7/2020 just added wood chips to the ground. Propane grill, we reimburse tank swaps.

Spa-Large spa for guest use between hours 7A-!0P per city

Parking- Flat surface, parking for 2 cars.

We leave our guests to their vacation, unless you reach out. We are almost always available to contact.

Being extremely close to the convention center, there is possible loud music on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. It usually ends at 11p.

Mountain Transit is available within a block. Many places are walking distance.

Cleaning fee- $125
Covers basic cleaning , laundering of linens, and spa service. This does not cover if trash is left behind. It is a unique custom in Big Bear trash drop off is free. If you choose not to bring all trash to the refuse, there will be a $25 charge per bag the cleaners must take to the site. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Pets- We love all types of pets; however due to prior experiences and potential allergies , we only allow dogs. We do not charge any extra up front pet fees. The only pet fees charged is if they are not cleaned up after, or ruin something on property. Poop bags are provided. Any poop left behind is charged per pile. Any urine/poop in the home is also charged per spot. Please be respectful of our home and make sure to bring only well trained pups. Accidents happen, please clean up asap. We care for the safety of your pet; however you are responsible for their care and safety while in our homes.

Refundable deposit $300

Check in as early as 4pm. Check out is 10am. Please be prompt. The cleaner occasionally shows up exactly at check out. There will be an extra $100 fee if they arrive and must wait or come back. We can occasionally accommodate early or late check outs; however they are VERY limited. Do not ask for early check in. We will always message if the home is ready earlier than 4p.

Please note in winter months: The roads are plowed regularly, but you may need 4x4 vehicle and chains. We are not responsible for any weather related travel issues.

Thomas is very diligent about the snow removal during winter months. You will most likely run into him during your stay. They are non invasive, quick, and courteous.

Steve & Brandon maintain the spa after each guest. As well as regular drain, clean and fills to ensure the spa is clean and safe. If abuse, misuse, excessive use of spa results in drain and fill, there is $150 fee. Most cases this is not necessary.

Reminder- This is the mountains. We do our best to control what we can. We spray and leave bait for pests, do our best to prevent rodents, and remove weeds throughout the year. Most of our homes do have sap producing trees.
Occupancy (4 includes children and infant) and car limit (2) are set by the city. They will enforce theses. If found to have more than we are licensed for, you may be evicted with no refund. So please adhere to these limitations.

Place all trash in trash bin. If it is full(lid must close completely), it must be taken to local trash dump site. It’s a city rule for short term rentals. Address included in check in details. Failure to do so will result in a per bag charge. No exceptions. (our homeowners abide by this rule when they stay)

Trash pick up day is Thursday. If staying on a Wednesday, please place bin street side.

Keypad code- Big Bear requires their Good Neighbor Policy to be signed prior to gaining access to the home. The person booking the home MUST sign, no exceptions. Declining to sign will result in no access to the home, & cancellation of reservation with no refund. GNP can be found in our listing along with the break down of our agreement. Agreement is sent in a link for virtual signature in welcome message.

Code will be sent day of check in. Once the home is ready or at 4pm, whichever is first.

If traveling in winter, we highly suggest purchasing trip insurance! We have a strict cancellation policy and will stand by it. Winter months can be challenging with snow, ice, road closures, and other things. Cover yourself by purchasing the trip insurance.

No refund will be made for cancellation due to weather, road conditions, acts of nature, mechanical failures, electrical failures or malfunctions with spas, TVs or other equipment, or for sighting of insects, rodents, or other animals. No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond the Homeowner’s control. Rescheduling is allowed if all roads have been closed into the area for 24 hours of check in time. Chains are often required and should be always carried. They may be needed to get in or out of Big Bear or your rental

Pets- Up to 2 dogs allowed at this property with $50 non refundable pet fee. No other types of animals are allowed. No additional costs, unless damage or cleaning issues arise from them.

Cleaning Fee- non negotiable. This covers clean linens, cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, floors, basic care of the home, and spa chemical balance. This does not cover left trash, excessive messes, and cleaning all dirty dishes. The home has deeper clean items that happen 2-3x a year.

Spa-is maintained after every guest. The cleaning fee covers basic chemical balancing. This does NOT cover if the spa is misused, resulting in a drain and refill. Best practice is rinse off before entering spa, no drinks in spa. Bodily fluid is the quickest way for the spa to need a drain and fill.

Check out is 10am. Please be prompt. The cleaner occasionally shows up exactly at check out. There will be an extra $100 fee if they arrive and must wait or come back. They will not knock or enter the property until it is vacated due to safety.

Snow removal is done at 4 inches or more, after the storm slows down. Snow shovel is provided. The plow team is on their own route and schedule. Please plan for weather and snow.

Big Bear Lake/City requires an additional 11% for vacation rentals. It is sent directly to the city of Big Bear Lake or San Bernadino County.
