Upon entering Hotel Room 212 noticed inferior smell which caused breathing problems. Immediately contacted hotel staff and requested another room. Hotel staff indicated that there were renovations completed and the tub had been refinished causing an epoxy type odor such as some form of chemical agent. Moved to Room 219 and again noted same type of smell. At this point, felt there was no one to assist and due to travelling to this area for an Softball World Series my granddaughter was to participate in, we stayed. The next morning, Saturday, November 2, 2024, stressed how bad the room situation was and expected someone to resolve this issue. We left to attend the tournament. Arrived back at the hotel in the evening and no one provided any resolution to this matter. Due to hotels completely booked in the area, we had no choice but to stay as the trip home was over 4 hours. Definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone and firmly believe a reimbursement should be provided.

Liked how clean and modern the facility was. Breakfast was very clean and good. Unfortunately, there was one person who was the cook, server and clean up crew so food was not replenished immediately until someone up front came to help. Appreciate that we’re able to accommodate me and my son after our original reservation at another hotel was lost.

Newly renovated hotel. Bright and welcoming. Booked it because it had a bar and grill inside. After driving all day escaping the hurricanes path we just wanted something quick and easy. Went to the bar to order food. Said it was open tul 10 pm. It was 8:30. Bartender said the grill was already closed down, but u can order from the appetizer menu. Totally good with that. Placed my order for pork sliders and chips and queso. Almost paid for it when the cook came out and said she didn’t have any more pork or tacos. But could fill the chips or do a shrimp appetizer. I said nope that will not work. Went back to the room and ordered from the food place down the road. If the grill is open til 10 I would expect to get menu items up until 9:15 or so. Because of the renovations there are a lot of conexes in the parking lot. Which is fine, but there was hardly any parking left. Once those are gone, there should be more parking available.

Loved deviant our stay . The only thing was the price we stayed for 4 days and it was over $900.00 it was a holiday weekend I know price go up but dang. That is my only coneplant The staff top notch very clean out room was large and updated . Bed and pillows very comfortable. We were on town for work and will definitely be back . I highly recommend. Oh and the breakfast very yummy every day . .

Upon waking up this morning, I let the shower run for about 15 minutes or more and there was NO hot water. I moved to the sink, the water was Luke warm. I called the front desk and the young lady stated that the engineer was not available. How awful it was to try to refresh yourself before. 2 hour drive back home. I’m very disappointed in this stay.
