Nice stay but parking alone is not safe in winter
Nice stay, rooms are very modern and comfortable. love the light under the bed ao turns on with movement off the bed for in the night get ups. good space to get ready and set up. nice little nook to.sit in aswell. although shouting eco friendly tv was on when in the room so was left on, not needed at all. Could not figire out how to use room service at all. It is a long walk to the hotel, so be prepared. i would also as a lone female recommend getting an uber or similar from the parking to hotel and the walk from their around the lakw is dark and not safe alone. Hotel would benefit from a shuttle or similar to safely transport lone travelers. Breakfast does feel chaotic, although nice, the layout is just off as all worked around the bar..an the lighting over th main table looks great but not practical, collegue banged his head numerous times getting up as they are just so low. Very ideal location though as right next to the nec and short walk to world resorts.

A great location before or after an exhibition at the NEC. The only issue is parking - about 15 mins walk - and no electric car charging. We used the drop off which was convenient, to load the car. The location near the outlet resort and its eating options was great.

My son is severely disabled and i was a bit concerned if we would manage in a hotel but it was perfect for us.Plenty of room in the bedroom and parking right next to the hotel.Brrakfast was brilliant and we all enjoyed it.I would definitely stay here again as we practically rolled out of bed into the Nec.

Great location and room. We had two drops of blood on our sheets which weren’t from us. And the room was insanely hot. Other guests we spoke to said the same - about the heat, not the drops of blood. Breakfast looked great but we didn’t have it. Really comfy bed except for the blood.

It is very convenient to the NEC, however, it is a basic no frills hotel, who trades as a trendy hotel, which it uses to up the prices on everything. It gets very noisy in the entrance/bar area after 5.30pm. The rooms are exceptionally basic and are not worth the high price. Convenience is great but the Hilton, just a few minutes walk away, has much better amenities/service for sometimes cheaper or at least equal price.

Moxy Birmingham NEC
Location to NEC was fantastic. However overall stay was mediocre. Room design is great but, the AC in the rooms are a joke! You can’t adjust and the room is constantly boiling lending itself to a very uncomfortable night sleep. Bed wasn’t comfortable or to my liking. Shower was blocked so after a period of time the water was building up in the shower. Breakfast food items was cheap and tasted dreadful. In all honesty I’ve stayed in a few amount of hotels and never really picky but for the price moxy are charging it can do better. In honesty, it’s the first time we ever stayed an moxy and was such a let down. Disappointing as everything it represents on the outside fits with our personality but unfortunately didn’t deliver. A simple case of style over substance.
