I booked a room with a single king bed MONTHS ago. When I got to the hotels they had given all the rooms with a king bed away. Then the hotel was under construction and work started up again at 7:30-8am. In the morning maid service knocked to get in my room, I explained I needed another hour. Every 15min they keep coming back. Finally, I purchased my room thru Expedia…..I received a receipt from the Double Tree as they charged my card for the one night stay. I called and asked why I was getting charged? They claimed they didn’t see that the room was paid for and I could take care of it with the accounting dept in a couple days. WHAT???? Yet another inconvenience.

I booked 2 rooms through Hotels.com. When I got to the hotel at 11:45 pm. I was told that I did not have my reservations anymore. I was told that hotels.com or another third party canceled the reservation an hour after I booked 5 months ago. I received reminders about my trip and even was asked how my stay was after. My friend and I had to find lodging in the middle of the night way outside of town. When I called Hotels.com they said the reservation was canceled by the hotel. I am not sure who is at fault but it was a really horrible experience.

Rooms very clean, restaurant connected to hotel was great. Convenient to stores. Only item I was disappointed about would be breakfast not included in price & I have been traveling for 26 years with soccer & stayed in cheaper hotels & was served full breakfast.
