Hallagenna was once a farm and was the home of Beatos, the black stallion from the Lloyds Bank adverts. Although now no longer a working farm, Hallagenna maintains its rural character. We have our own miniature pigs and chickens here and horses graze in the paddock and share their fields with wild rabbits, which can be easily spotted amongst the grass. A wealth of wildlife can be found grazing the adjacent moor, including ponies, cattle and sheep.We have our own access to Bodmin Moor here at Hallagenna Cottages so it’s ideal for dog walking,hiking,exploring or simply taking in the view .
A single storey, 17th Century Farm Cottage sitting right in open moorland, wild animals will come right up to your lounge and kitchen windows!
The cottage has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, one bathroom with bath and shower fitting, a large, fully fitted pine kitchen, a comfortable living room, with dining area, log burning stove and Smart Tv and DVD player. Wi-Fi access is included. A basket of logs is provided, to keep you really cosy on those winter nights.
A private barbecue is also provided so you can enjoy the warm Cornish sun in your enclosed courtyard garden located at the front of the property.
During peak seasons, minimum stay is 7 nights although we are open to enquiries.
