For the price, it exceeded my expectation, the place and room in general is very clean, staffs are very helpful and friendly.. bed is comfy and I was given extra duvet when I asked for it, which is great.. had my laundry done so quick.. the location is fine with me to walk a bit to plaza Bolívar area, there was no noise from street, feel so at home here..

The hostel is lovely! It has a relaxed atmosphere and the rooms are kept really clean. The staff are very easy going, kind and they are very sympathetic if you dont speak perfect spanish :). The breakfast is really nice and varies each day. A great option if you are looking to stay in the Candelaria district.

Great stay- but must pay with cash
Overall I enjoyed my stay at Lima Limon. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was enjoyable, the wifi worked well, the shower was hot, and the rooms were colorful and clean. The location is within easy walking distance of the sights of Bogota. Only issues were that the hostel does NOT accept cards for payment. Since I had an early flight, I tried to pay for my stay the night before. After they informed me that they could not accept cards, I had to walk through dark empty streets to find an ATM. This was a bit frustrating and felt mildly unsafe. The mattress in my room was also extremely firm, so I had some trouble sleeping at first. But they provided a lot of comfortable blankets to keep warm! My stay was generally great, but be aware of the card policy so you don't end up in my situation!

Hostel parte alta de la Candelaria
La llegada no fue nada buena porque me tuvo 15 minutos en la puerta del hostel sin dejarme entrar porque no encontraba mi reserva con hoteles.com en vez de dejarme entrar y solucionarlo conmigo dentro. Aunque luego se disculpo y me lo intentó justificar, no es escusa para dejar un cliente en la puerta de la calle y a decir verdad que, a primera vista la zona no se ve segura aunque luego si lo sea. A pesar de ese incidente, el hostel es acogedor y está limpio. Aunque el hostel es pequeño, la habitación de 6 es cómoda. El desayuno es bueno y el wifi también. Tiene sólo dos baños con ducha para todo el hostel, una para chicos y otro para chicas; que sino está lleno el hostel bien, pero cuando esté lleno... La ducha perfecta con agua caliente, pero no incluyen la toalla en el precio. Otra cosa que no me gustó es que la puerta de la calle la tienen siempre cerrada y te abren como mirando por la mirilla, hecho que da sensación de inseguridad de la zona ya que está situada en la parte alta de la Candelaria, cerca del Chorro de Quevedo.

Alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand, vriendelijk en behulpzaam hotelpersoneel maakt elke ochtend een prima ontbijtje voor je klaar, elk uur van de dag is er warm water. Enige aanmerking is dat er elke avond tot 10 uur muziek wordt gedraaid in het hostel en met een jetlag ging dat bij ons niet zo goed samen.

Super auberge, j'ai été super bien accueilli, un petit jeune m'a porté mes bagages, l'endroit est super beau. L'emplacement est top à coté de pleins de petits restaux et bar et à 10 min à pied de la grande rue piétonne avec les musées et le bus. Le petit dej est super et change tous les mations donc parfait quand on y reste longtemps. Le personnel est vraiment super aidant ! Vraiment une super auberge avec rien à redire.
