The staff were very friendly, and able to work with my late check-in. The room was decorated well, bed was comfortable, and the shower was spacious. I got the room so I didn’t have to drive home after helping at a function downtown where I would be drinking. The location, amenities, and price were great.

My first room had some issues with the tv, outlets, and room temperature. I made the staff aware, they were very accommodating, polite and offered me a room upgrade at no extra cost. I accepted the upgrade reluctantly, as not to be a bother, and it was wonderful. They checked in to make sure the upgrade accommodations were satisfactory, as the staff wished me to be comfortable and happy with my stay. I do not recall the gentleman’s name that worked with me, but he was very professional, kind, made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. I would happily stay there again and have recommend it to others. Thank you for the hospitality. Excellent place to stay, loved the bar vibe, and look forward to visiting again soon.

Hotel with charm
We like staying in hotel that have character. This one fits that bill. It was charming. The pictures of the type of room however was somewhat deceiving. Our room was very compact. There wasn’t a lot of room to walk around. The bathroom had a large walk in shower. The coffee maker used Lilly coffee which was good to wake up to in the morning. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay her again. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and shopping.

This was my first stay at The Avery and going forward it is the only place I want to stay when I visit Boise. The decor is so cool. Room was clean and comfortable. Loved it here!

I really appreciated being able to park my car behind the property. However, each day I was there, someone from the front desk had to come up to my room to change the source on my television so the TV would work. Not a big deal, but annoying.
