Could have been
Bulbs burnt out in room, refrigerator not working and asked to have replaced. I don't believe it ever was. As much as you charge per night, slightly overconcerned about towel limits. Wave pool not running 2 full days we were there but no problem running day we left. Was not in system so communication issue with website and hotel !!!!!!
My stay was great, Crown Regency is very close to the beach, D'mall and easy to get transport from and to. However, the buffet breakfast that was included with my stay was not what I would usually eat for breakfast and as a vegan my breakfast was usually rice or fruit, there weren't many choices for me. The wifi also wasn't very fast but that was to be expected. Other than those two minor issues, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and we overall had a great time there.
Average hotel within walking distance of the beach
First impression of the hotel lobby was nice. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast, although not included, was average. The pool area was fun for kids but there was not a lot of places to sit. While the hotel advertises surfing and underwater activities, it's all extra charge even as a hotel guest. Within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and the beach so there was no need to take a taxi or tricycle.
Staff not very attentive to guest needs.
Called 6 times for extra towels.
Shower pressure was very poor, had to call twice to get it fixed.
Wifi was very poor and my view from the room was a calories lines, chicken and half unbuilt building.
It expected more for what I paid. I do not recommend to my friends
It was a nice stay but service could be improved. Wifi as stated to be free is not entirely true. You'll be given a voucher that lasts for 4 hours. So you need to enter a new voucher code everytime it expires which is such a hassle. Other than that the hotel is not that far from the beach. About 5 minute walk and that's not too bad. Cheers!
My stay was excellent,but the price for the tour of underworld is rediculous ,they serve us a snack after that in which the french fries was cold and chewy
Very friendly staff but was not competent enough.
Hot water service is very bad. Literally no hot water was available for shower. One boiler for the entire hotel is no sufficient.
Shower pressure is very low.
Internet wifi password expired every couple of days and a hassle to update every time.
Food was great for breakfast, however it was catered predominantly for chinese tourists.
In-house water diving & pool staffs were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
House keeping staff was exceptional good.
Overall staffs were very kind and helpful, however, more work to be done on the service.
Suggest assisting guests in crossing the road or some sort of traffic management system in place.
The employees are not ok specially the guards are rude. Their system for check in and check out is not good.

Just off the beach - Nice resort style.
Overall the hotel/resort was nice. Nothing extraordinary though. Staff were lovely and always helpful despite how busy they always were. The location was good - on the main road and only a 5 minute walk to Station 2 beach. Wifi was terrible though - was basically non-existant. Especially frustrating when trying to confirm further details of the holiday and because the hotel boasted 'super-fast wireless internet' on the booking. Wave pool was broken and looked like it hadn't been used for months. The pool was large and shallow throughout. Outdoor bar area was nice. Overall, a nice resort-style hotel better suited for families.

Nice Location but...
The hotel policies for the front desk was dissapointing. I lost a card key and they charged me for a replacement. Checking out took way to long. We had to wait 15min to check out with our traspotation waiting while they checked the room. The room was nice and clean and the bathrooms were very nice although there was never enough towels. There was a moldy smell in the room which bothered my allergies and would make me to not recommend this hotel. The highlights of the hotel was the breakfast and concierge staff.
Really bad hotel, not like in the pictures. I wanted to reebook it as soon as i entered the building.
Was not happy with my stay because it was no hot water, no elevator was working. The food was bad and have really nothing good to say.

Overpriced Dump
The first thing I noticed was the refrigerator was not colder than about 70 degrees F, but understood that the power may have been turned off for a long time. Even after 6 hours the temp did not change so I requested a replacement. Even the replacement could not keep my insulin cool enough to make a difference. I carry an insulin cooler that requires it to be frozen and neither of the two refrigerators had operating freezer sections. Even though the staff was helpful in trying to resolve the problem by offering to use the kitchen freezer and refrigerator to keep the insulin cool, it was a hassle to always ask them to get the items for me.
I also noticed some other maintenance issues at other portions of the hotel such as signage was not always appropriately placed or worded properly, tiles in the floor of the lobby were cracked, and..
