- The beach was relatively nice but the Hotel was so disappointing:
> bed sheet, bath towels, pillow case, etc. so old and wore and yellowish, not seem to have washed properly.
> Wash room sink clogged up and not fixed, lights failing...
> Room not cleaned up properly, everythig old and wore...
> Reason may be that the staff are getting less than 300 pesos (minimum salary) per day and they don't have incentive to keep the hotel in good condition; it is just not worth the effort ... but we customers pay $60 per night would expect to get full hotel service ... it is sad, but the owner doesn't care that much about improving the conditions as they make just as much money either way ...
> I paid $60 (including all fees) per day to live in a 1 star hotel ( should be called an Inn, not hotel) which is absolutely disappointing ...
the hotel has only one place to eat and the food and service is so bad but the price is so expensive, their sunset room is too small for 4 person, there's no towel and bed sheets smells and old, bed is old and not comfy anymore. one of the room air condition is not working. I've been using expedia to all my travel needs and this hotel is the worst.
i like it because i really don't want to be near those crowded and noisy stations. i also enjoyed the view of the nearby hotels on top of the mountains.so peaceful that you can even sleep while watching the sunset.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
For a low Budget hotel it´s ok.
For a low Budget hotel it´s ok. They have potential, but the hotel has not been kept in shape. The picking-up service between airport and hotel was excelent. Also the shuttle bus possibility to D´Mall every day.
The food is not good and the restaurant is not clean. Cats all around - not good! My recomendation: Invest in having a good restaurant and open it to the beach. Focus on a special tipe of food that others around don´t offer.
The location is excelent and the beach perfect for people that do not like the multitudes of crowded beaches.
When I first got there I was not happy with the room location or cleanliness. I had to make a fuss, and they upgraded me to the sunset room, only one problem is that the roof leaked when it rained. i quickly wanted to go somewhere else, but soon found out that I was paying a very good price compared to other places around Boracay. The food at the hotel was surprisingly good, and most of the staff were freindly and eager to make you happy. Problem is that this hotel is not being maintained as the owner has financial problems and is not putting the money back into the hotel. All in all Boracay is soo overated and too expensive for good value.
Major Problems:Located quite a ways from the main areas. They have a shuttle but it only runs at certain times and it is inconvenient. The breakfast was absolutely horrendous! The rooms were pretty basic and the beds were very uncomfortable (not to mention that the blanket is just a flat sheet...). The AC unit struggled to work anytime the sun was up so it was quite hot during the morning/day/afternoon. The room was moderately clean when we got there but there was no cleaning service at all.
Pros: The staff were friendly and mostly helpful.
We took one look and then went along the beach and booked in somewhere else, we knew it would not be great as it was very cheap but we just couldn't stay there, they staff were lovely and we felt awful for them, but as I said we just couldn't stay there.
The only thing good about this Hotel was the Beach which was the best section on Boracay I saw.The online photoes shown in the adverstisement for the hotel are very misleading may have been taken when first built years ago.I think three star rateing should be more like one star which would be much closer to the truth. This is the only hotel I could find on the dates we had to traval so next time I will know to look much earlier now that i know area better.I guess to sum it up Boracay was great place to visit just plan better and take exta money to pay all the fees the Philippines charge and money to just use the restroomes.
It's very unpleasant to stay in Orinda.it's a far cry frim the pictures that they post in their website. 1st the location is very very far. 2nd, the room is very yucky. The 2queen sized beds are arranged perpendicularly to each other. Our room seems like an old office coverted into a bedroom. I wouldnt recommend this to my friends. I booked forv2nyts here at hotels.com i just stayed for 1nyt and left the following morning without informing the hotel. I transferred somewhere in Station2 on my my 2nd day in Boracay.

An enjoyable stay - good value
For the cheap price this hotel offers exceptional value. Rooms are basic but comfortable, staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. It is located right on the beach, very close to where it all happens on White Beach, but far enough away from the noise. The hotel has a shuttle bus to get you around, or tricycles (the best way to see the island) are always close at hand.
To begin with hotel was not very clean the sheets and towels smelled of water mildew, the air conditioning was terrible so therefore it was very hot and humid to sleep at night

Orinda Hotel
We enjoyed our stay there. The hotel is far from the madding crowd which my husband really appreciated. He doesnt like crowded places.. The peaceful and serene vacation he was looking for was found in Orinda.
Thank you.....
However, the food was pricey and not much selection.... I hope you can improve on this....
Hotel is good value for money. Staff are very nice and attentive to your needs. The resort is at the tip of station 1 so a bit far from the crowd if you like some privacy. Very far from dmall which is in station 2 but they have scheduled busses that will take you there but if you miss it you'ld have to walk or take the tricycle which cost 150 pesos one way. Which is very expensive.
Location is far from the main beach. But if you prefer to be in a quite spot then this place is for you. Or if you prefer to walk to DMall and burn some calories then this place is for you.
Pros:
- Nice private beach location
- Quiet
- 2 queen bed (family or 4 friends can easily fit)
Cons:
- Old
- Rooms dirty (especially bed sheets)
- If you want to go D'Mall or party you need to take tricycle up to 20 minutes (100 Pesos)
- rates too pricy for this hotel
Overall - I would not stay there anymore, neither recommend. Pay 50$ more and enjoy your vacation.
Tip: Book one night and check on the island what else available.
