I was at this hotel for one night. After checking in I could not get the AC unit to start. Staff sent someone to fix the issue but removed the thermostat from the wall. Got the unit kind of working but it was so noisy I barely slept. E what an awful soundtrack!

Close to a bus stop but not to a metro. Not easy to get to and from the airport via public transportation. My room was very clean. Free coffee and water (filtered). Breakfast is not complimentary. Ride on Lyft to and from airport may cost between $22 and $40. Uber is way more expensive to get to and from airport. Dunkin Donuts is right across.

The staff was wonderful during my weeklong stay. They were polite and helpful. The hotel is clean, quiet, lovely and affordable. I was happy to have breakfast and parking as options at the facilities. With a short walk, I was able to get to the bus stop to take the public bus into downtown. My only recommendation would be to consider situating a microwave in the rooms. Nonetheless, my stay was so comfy and pleasant that I would not hesitate to return to the Four Points by Sheraton Boston Newton.

Can't imagine why anyone built a hotel on top of an expressway. Even though we were on the 6th floor, the traffic noise was constant through the night. It was to some extent drowned out by a very loud air conditioning system. But even that did not block out the noise of a group of children in the hall who kept shouting at reach other until late. There was no sound insulation between the room and the hall and the hall was an echo chamber. Sheraton used to mean quality, but no more
