Our overall experience was very, very good. Room was very clean! Nice boutique hotel, close to many areas of Boston. We thought the hallways to our rooms had a bad smell. Could be due to old carpeting. Our room was very cool, tried turning the heat on, but temperature did not change. Maybe too early for hotel to have heat on?

Everyone was polite and responsive. The location was very convenient to TD Garden, local shopping and restaurants. You could walk to most attractions within 20 minutes.

We arrived around 4:30 in the afternoon. First impressions, not the greatest. The smell of marijuana outside on the street was very strong, along with several homeless people laying on the sidewalk. Inside, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We had one breakfast in the hotel restaurant when the cook didn’t show. We didn’t know before we go our food, but apparently the bartender cooked it. Had Eggs Benedict - eggs were nearly raw, English muffin barely toasted. The 2 other times we ate there, we were the only ones.

Staff is incredibly friendly. Building is a small building in the West End, so just as you would expect with small buildings in Boston, it's got small rooms, small elevator, lots of small spaces. It is across the street from the TD Garden so it can get a bit loud in the area at night. Convenient to the North Station 2 blocks away. The walks to some of the hot-spot tourist areas can be lengthy.

No natural light; not worth the price
The room (queen suite) was facing the wall of the next building so there was no natural light. Ask for a room with a view else skip this hotel as the room can become quite dark. Secondly, the bathrooms are really small with not much counter space to keep anything more than your toothbrush Finally, room cleaning is not done regularly, even though it is supposed to be done daily. I had to ask for it twice to get it done.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. We had a mini suite which was perfect for a family of 4 adults. Lively area, so it’s a little loud, but they provide white noise machine in the room which is very thoughtful! Great restaurant options all walking distance. Close to huge transit station so everywhere you’d like to visit is accessible from the corner.

Save your money stay elsewhere.
The room was not super clean there were items left on the floor in both the bedroom (a travel tag, Nicole etc). And in the bathroom to include hair and a folded up bandaid. This was our first time staying there and at a cost of over $600 a night yikes you would expect more. Front desk staff was fine certainly not overly friendly but not rude either. The vallet are by far the shinning stars here at this resort. Kind polite and helpful. Had breakfast at the attached restaurant. Bar tender was the only staff and very not interested in serving. Had to ask for everything from salt and pepper to latch up, and didn’t check on us once. Rooms are very small for a “suite”. Beds are old and not very comfortable. Spend a little extra and stay at the Marriott two streets down. Normally I would say you get what you pay for! And had the room been cheap then ok. But it was not cheap and besides the awesome location hard pass on this place.
