Loved the Location!

Great location for a large event at TD Garden. Super accessible to the Freedom Trail, the markets, the wharf, great restaurants, esp Italian & seafood! Rooms are a little small, but to be expected in such a central part of the city. Service was friendly. Good restaurant/bar on site. Would recommend!

It was fine as I was only there for one night and didn't return to sleep until late. The room is much smaller than what is shown online fyi. Had a couple of cocktails at the bar and I must say, bartender was NOT very attentive at all. Didn't bother me much but it definitely took a toll on a few others. Had brekkie in the morning before leaving, and same lack of attention and details. I am in the hospitality business, and priority for me is #1! Kill them with kindness I always say!

Nice Room! Watch out for hidden fees

The room was beautiful, and the coffee bar excellent. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant. We were able to check in early and the room was ready extremely early! Wow! The staff at the front desk and valet were present but not particularly friendly, helpful, or engaging. They seemed surprised whenever we asked for something basic like where the luggage carts are or for the valet to get our car. Valet service was supposed to start at 7am, and the valet wasn't present to even request the car until 7:05. They again, acted surprised when we requested our car. The hidden fees were extremely disappointing. I went in thinking I had already paid off the room only to find a $25 "destination fee" and other small taxes and fees tacked on to that. Feels like they're trying to nickel and dime. On a positive note, we did pass by a few cleaning ladies in the hall and they were friendly and the rooms clean! Thank you, ladies!

No bathroom privacy

Great location, clean room, nice lobby and coffee counter/bar. What I didn't like is that our room bathroom had only a sliding door that by design didn't lock and had a 2+ inch gap between the door and wall. So the person in the bathroom had next to no privacy and if you were in the room you could hear and smell whatever was happening in the bathroom. I don't understand why someone would design a hotel room that way.

This property is located on the Freedom Trail which made it nice to pop out the front door and hit the trail. We felt the mattresses were pretty worn and needed to be replaced. There were defined impressions where most people sleep. The shower is a small square which makes it difficult to turn on and adjust the temperature without getting sprayed ahead of time

Hyatt Centric was right in the heart of pretty much everything! Easy for most train and bus lines, lots of food choices within walking distance and even on the property. The staff was all extremely friendly. The products within the room were upscale and they even provided makeup remover and vanity kits. We are already planning our next stay!
