Stay didn’t really meet Marriott standards. There was feces in the toilet when we checked in, the sink leaked. The sheets had stains on them and the AC wasn’t cooling adequately. I pre-paid for parking but then the lot was full so I had to valet. When I asked the front desk to refund me the prepaid parking since I would be paying for valet now he said they didn’t own the garage so I needed to take it up with the parking attendant. The parking attendant had trouble speaking English and didn’t seem to understand that I had pre-paid for parking when I booked the room, after spending several minutes explaining he finally said he would adjust the cost but then couldn’t give me a receipt. I specifically picked the Westin over others in the area for the good reputation but was disappointment overall with the experience. Although he property left some to be desired the location was perfect, would highly recommend staying in this general area.

Booked this hotel due to its close proximity to Logan Airport. Hotel is a megastructure catering to convention hosts & attendees, so there were boatloads of people everywhere you turned plus long lines to park your car, check-in, get seated in restaurants, and purchase coffee. We met 1 friendly bartender, 1 competent server, and 1 courteous housekeeping staff, but otherwise, the pleasantries of good customer service was lacking across-the-board (staff was just too busy waiting on the hoardes). At check-in, after paying just under $500 (which included numerous ridiculous resort fees/taxes on top of a $329 room charge) for one night's stay, we were given a $30 voucher which we used at Starbucks the next morning because the only restaurant open for breakfast was mobbed. Our standard 2 queen room was clean & all facilities functioned properly. The neighborhood is a city and certainly did not have the feel of a seaport, so we did not walk around outside on the lovely autumn evening. While the hotel served our purpose of a decent overnight accommodation in order to make a flight the next day, I would not return.
