Make sure you take photos of the apartment when you leave
When you book the place, you will be emailed a 100-item inventory check list. That should have made us suspicious but we were naive thinking it is just a formality. The next morning after the check-out I received an angry email from the owner accusing us of stealing 3 frying pans, a table runner, a vase and a deco-penguin! Sounds ridiculous but the owner believes someone who just paid for a week of stay would steal used frying pans. I'm not sure what happened on the other side and what went wrong but when we vacated the apartment all "missing" items were there. I'm writing this review 2 weeks after the incident happened and I have not heard from the owner ever since. My refundable damage deposit has not been returned and the owner is not getting back to my requests.
The apartment itself is good, as described in the listing here. It is located in the Chantel area of Arc 1800 which we found to be a better location than the main 1800 villages. You can use the swimming pool, sauna and gym. There is a restaurant, a shop and a ski rental in the same building.
The how to get there instructions are poor, you will have a hard time finding the place.
