All I can say is that the reception staff and manageress when I arrived were appalling and refused to let me check in so I had to go and book a different hotel. Costing more money and effort.
I had booked as normal with hotels.com so had a genuine paid for booking .
On arrival I was repeatedly told I had to show a photo id or provide a card for pre authorisation.
I had neither with me on this occasion and offered a bank card saved on my phone wallet . They refused this option.
The staff unswervingly relied on their terms and conditions ( which were only sent after they had accepted my booking and had my payment!) and quickly got a hotel owners card out and said take it up with the director . They would not let me stay .
Very inhospitable and very bad attitude and with a ready pile of their directors business cards I suggest they have done this before .
This really upset me and so far has cost me money with no apologies or refund offered.
I was totally surprised by their unfathomable attitude from what is supposed to be a hospitality industry.
There was zero hospitality and only repeated “ computer says no” “refer to our T&Cs “nonsense .
I have never experienced this before and it is likely that they have acted with no regard to consumer rights or laws.
I await a directors response but in the meantime :
Avoid this place like the plague .

The hotel was ok. Our compact room was really tiny. Breakfast was ok but would have liked fresh fruit and nicer bread and some rolls. Evening meal was very good. Towels very thin and only got one hand towel. No bath mat on second night. Pool was very small. It looked much bigger in the picture.
The £20 parking fee was not disclosed until after I had made my hotel reservation.
This information was sent via email, and I would not have booked the hotel if I had been aware of the parking fee in advance, as it was advertised as having free parking.
The hotel staff were very helpful and polite.
Additionally, they failed to inform me that construction work was being carried out next door to the hotel.
I was woken up by loud banging and drilling before 7am.
Nice convenient location. Spacious room, well appointed. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food. Pool is small and gym very basic

I know it is end of season but we just felt that the hotel was running on the scruffy side of cleanliness.
Staff were nice enough though a bit abrupt and not really that warm welcoming feel you would like.
£20 a day to park your car is a joke.
The room we had was with the foot of the bed about 6" higher that the head. Woken up both nights by noises.
Bournemouth itself felt a little run down.

Was a good stay. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean. Only niggle was that the cold tap was warm, the room was a bit dated and the sign posting for rooms could be a bit clearer. Would I stay here again, yes I would.
