Todd and Jax’s journey began with a shared dream of crafting a boutique lodge that would be a reflection of their own values and love for the wilderness. Drawing inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes of Kananaskis and Longview, they envisioned a place where guests could escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in the serenity of the Highwood River.

Todd, has meticulously curated every detail of the lodge to ensure a harmonious blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort. He takes great pride in crafting spaces that allow guests to feel connected to nature while indulging in the luxury of a boutique experience.

Jax, on the other hand, is the heart and soul of hospitality at River Retreat Kananaskis. Her warm and caring nature instantly puts guests at ease, and she is always ready with a smile and a helping hand to make sure each visitor’s stay is nothing short of perfection.
There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. A Smart television is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a shower and a bidet. Conveniences include a coffee/tea maker, and housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.
