The restaurants exceeded our expectations on all meals, and we ate 5 there.. At night, the one upstairs has a wolverine pizza that s exCEPTional! All wait staff wonderful and friendly, worth staying for sure!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
One of the wordt
For the price paid this was terrible value
Room was extremely dated, small and had no cutlery crockery or glassware
No info re surrounding areas etc
Good hotel to explore lake Louise. The pool/ hot tubs are a great addition as well as the restaurant/s. Recommend staying here especially as there wasn't much else in Lake Louise.
Visiting Lake Louise for a one day stay. Checked in early, hiked the area and had a nice meal in the hotel restaurant before retiring for the evening. Used the hot tub, it was nice. Room was large and well accommodated. Bed was comfortable.
The hotel was old but fine. Clean and comfortable. Got upgraded to a condo which was nice. You are very much paying for the location though. We arrived late and left early so didnt really use any of the facilities. Hotel was very busy and there are two small restaurants on site. I would advise booking a table early as we had quite a wait. Food was good though.

Liked: Staff & service
Decent choice in Lake Louise
A decent hotel given the remoteness of the area with few options. Our hotel block appeared to be vintage and showing signs of age. Room was OK although heat did not work. Had to use space heater to keep room warm enough. # of outlets was limited - had to use what you could find (picture an extension cord with several devices plugged into it - including a space heater). But overall, it was an OK room. The dining was very good, and the staff was super friendly. Some of the other hotel blocks might have been newer and not as "vintage" as ours.
The property conditions are poor, rooms are like old age, you can hear people in walkway and voices of talking from neighbouring rooms, not worth the price, will not recommend this place.
The trains run frequently thru the night, the walls are thin, upstairs guest walked around really early it was so loud down in our room, the neighbours shower was so loud we thought he was in our bathroom. You need to runaround while showering to get wet. Too bad, the place and rooms are nice other than that.

Online photos and amendments misleading as to conditions of rooms- expecting a more deluxe stay at price paid—- would not have stayed there
