From the minute we arrived we were treated with manners and a pleasant smile, room was spacious and very clean ,bed was comfortable shower was brilliant. Breakfast was as described but very nice all in all I would love to go back to Braga and definitely stay in Pateo de Janes again.

Great location...the staff Pedro and Augusta were wonderful...parking can be problematic but you just can't beat the staff and location. Good people, it was good breakfast with Augusta's homemade jams

What a beautiful little apartment, right in the heart of everything. We especially appreciated the very attentive service - we were celebrating a special event, and they made it note of it for us. A very pleasant stay.

Tasteful building, great location
We stayed there for two nights with family. I booked a room with a king bed and expected a balcony based on the description, but out room came without a balcony and with two single beds, one of which was a bunk bed. The little one however was extremely happy with the bunk bed, so it worked out fine eventually, even though the room was a little bit small. The facilities were clean, modern and tasteful; we had enough towels, blankets, shampoo etc but no toothpaste. We had wifi, a TV with good channels and an AC that was suitable for heating when needed. The communal kitchen does not have a cooker, only a small grill oven and a microwave oven which was enough for us for the two nights. Staff was helpful and polite. The building is located right in the middle of town, in a lovely passageway, with everything within easy reach, but a bit difficult to find as google maps directs you to a nearby street 2 minutes away. Augusta (the member of staff there at the time) kindly came out when called and directed us there. The contact number on hotels.com is incorrect and we would have had quite a big problem checking-in, if I did not find the number on google, as I could not have notified them of our arrival and could not have called for directions either. Overall, we had a lovely couple of nights in Braga, many thanks.

Hospitable guesthouse in the very center of Braga
We stayed here 2 nights to explore Braga and surroundings. The guesthouse is located in a small, insignificant street close to the cathedral. Warm welcome by our host Augusta, who speaks her languages. We had the spacious front Janes studio, with a comfortable kingsize bed and mini kitchen. The basic breakfast can be had in the room or in the common kitchen. Minor issue is the street noise in the weekend. Overall a very pleasant stay, value for money.

Trato excelente, la recepcionista es muy cercana y muy atenta siempre muy pendiente de que esten las cosas a tu gusto lo cual se agradece. Nos regalaron el desayuno que incluia un pequeño buffet libre con zumo de naraja natural. La ubicación es muy buena ya que el edificio se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad. La habitación estaba muy limpia, era grande, con una cama de 2x2 súper comoda y con vistas a la calle principal. Relación calidad-precio excelente. El único defecto es que no tiene aparcamiento, pero no se puede pedir todo por ese precio. Repetiré seguro si vuelvo.

au coeur de braga
Très bien implanté au cœur de Braga dans le centre et très vivant. Juste que le studio comprend jusqu'a 4 personnes selon le site hors sur place en dehors du lit 2 personnes les lits complémentaires sont d'appoint et à 15 euros à régler sur place.

A recepção foi ótima. Os únicos problemas são a escada e a internet que não funcionava no quarto todo, mas isso nem é um grande problema. O quarto é ótimo, o banheiro e a localização tbm.

Horrible, scandaleux et non conforme à l'annonce !
Un Scandale !!!! Horriblement décevant, une sensation de s’être fait bien avoir !!! Une chambre où nous avons déposé 2 valises et nous ne pouvions plus bouger, avec des rangements ridicules , de quoi ranger 2 manteaux à peine (photo à l'appuie) . Une seule fenêtre donnant "sur une vue de la ville" ( comme précisé sur le site) mais qui en réalité donne sur une fenêtre du bâtiment d'en face et qui en plus ne s'ouvre pas. De plus nous devions avoir un bacon ( selon le site) et non.... rien à part cette fenêtre close . A noter aussi il n'y a pas d’ascenseur et la chambre est au 4 eme étage ... ce qui n’était pas mentionné sur le site non plus. Pour ce qui est du wifi , il ne fonctionne qu'une fois sur 10 !!!!! Enfin, il n'y a pas de parking gratuit , il faut compter 30 / 40 € pour laisser la voiture la nuit . Bref plus jamais !!!!!!
