The bed gave me and my wife back issues. They only cleared up after we got back on a regular bed. If either person moves, the bed "rocks" for a moment. The mattress is lumpy and uneven. Feels decades old. It's incomprehensible to expect people to sleep on it.
The bedroom looks like it was added AFTER the unit was built. As a result, I do not believe it is up to any standard size code: There is about 2 feet of room in the right hand side of the bed between it and the wall, and it's quite likely you will smack your head on the TV crammed in the room if you get up and go use the facilities during the evening. There is also only about 2 feet of room ad the end of the bed.
Lands end is a decent enough complex, but VERY dated. You must lift your luggage up 8 stairs - or biker - or ski's. Very inconvenient to bring up luggage. So, to even load the dumb waiter, you have to carry up stuff in your arms.
Short ceilings in the units make for a very "stuffy" feeling.
When checking in, we received the WRONG property sheet, and were very confused that we were even in the right property. So we called Great Western Lodging during business hours, and had to call the emergency line. The operator of that (emergency) line stated that the phone should have been answered in the main facility.
The sliding window in the bedroom needed about 20 times the FORCE needed to open than its counter part in the living room. Obvious maintenance needed: It's off the track, or need a bearing, or something. I'm talking eye popping effort, just to open the door.
There was water leaking out of the refrigerator the day we got there. We again called the emergency line the first night, and wanted to report the issue. He suggested it was defrosted, and had some excess water. That night we put in a large pizza on the bottom, and the next morning the pizza box was sopped with water, so we had to throw away the (expensive) pizza.
ONLY STAY HERE, IF YOU DON'T HAVER TO SPEND ANY TIME IN THE UNIT.
Worst VRBO stay EVER.
