LOCATION – This home is located in the Silver Shekel neighborhood in North Breckenridge, just minutes from the Town of Breckenridge, Ski Area, Golf Course and the Gold Run Nordic Center.

AMENITIES – The modern kitchen features a granite island with a countertop gas stove and new stainless appliances. On the island there is bar seating for 3, while the nearby dining room table seats 8. This home boasts plenty of common area space and entertainment options for your group. The Billiards room upstairs features a billiards table, a flat screen TV & Wii gaming system as well as a full bathroom. There is also a sitting area on the upper level landing with a large comfortable sofa and an oversized chaise lounge. In the lower level, you will find lots of privacy with an additional living room, including a large screen TV, Blu-Ray player and kitchenette. You can walk right out the living room door and hop into the hot tub located on the back patio.

Great Experience
We loved the property. It was well maintained and clean. The living areas were well appointed. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and the bed linens were better than expected. The location was good - it was an easy drive to the main areas of Breckenridge as well as the gondola parking. We had no complaints and would definitely return without question.

Excellent Stay 10mins from Breckenridge
I booked the Shekel Haus for a week long family and friends getaway for 8 people. The house was immaculate and very roomy. Plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing, and a large kitchen table area for group dinners and board games. The downstairs basement ‘lair’ is like its own little apartment. We all enjoyed the hot tub every night after a long day of skiing. The location was perfect. Just 10mins from Breck ski resort, but also only 15mins from Frisco (grocery stores tubing, and fast food options). We were also approx 30mins from Loveland which is a good cost-effective ski resort for beginners. The mgmt company was very responsive. They even sent out someone to fix the fireplace on New Year’s Day! I highly recommend the Shekel Haus!

Great property, but.....
Shekel Haus is a gorgeous piece of property situated high above the golf course with a beautiful view. However, a few things to note: 1) in the summer, a huge westward facing wall of windows heats the house up and with no AC, it will be 9-10pm before you can cool down again. 2) Several major appliances were in complete disrepair, i.e., the dishwasher and dryer, which was powered by natural gas. Huge safety issue and we could not do laundry. 3) Property management was slow to respond and fix things and only offered a meager discount. 4) the TVs are not smart TVs, so bring a Fire Stick or a Roku unless you want to watch basic cable. Wi-Fi worked fine though. Unfortunately, those things soured what could be a very comfortable and impressive home. Pros: the pool table is a huge plus, that's really all the house had going for it. Bottom line: Not worth it.

Beautiful home in a nice quiet wooded neighborhood.
This VRBO home surpassed all our expectations! We like to cook and the kitchen had all the pots, pans and utensils we needed along with nice glasses and dishes. The home was beautifully decorated with plenty of room/beds for a family of 9 (6 adults, 3 children). We definitely hope to return!

Wonderful!
We had a wonderful stay at the Shekel Haus. It was spacious, clean, and well stocked for our group. Great location with a quick drive to Breck, but also close enough to other resorts that we even got a couple of trips to Vail and Keystone. Management was close by and very responsive with any questions or needs. Overall we had a lovely stay and highly recommend a stay at Shekel Haus!

A reunion of old friends was made all the better at this great house. The place was large and roomy, with a great hot tub to ease our tired bones after a day on the slope. The communication with the home owners was great, with regular updates all along the way. We were a short drive from town so getting to the slopes was really easy. We would definitely come back!

Big house. Lots of open spaces. Kitchen was well stocked pots, pans, etc. comfy beds. Full spice rack, although no sugar. Instructions need to be expanded. Dishwasher needs directions. Door lock is not the front door, but the door inside the garage. Trash is either put into the bins or left for the cleaners. Signs go both ways. Lots of little things not up to par. Paper products need to be upgraded. Paper towels dissolve in your hand before cleaning anything. Toilet paper is less than 2 ply. Claims that ldry detergent is available, but only for one load. Coffee is also available, but only for one night even though you stay 7. Garage door needs to be tried 2-4 times before opening. Toys are cracked and most are only partially working or missing pieces. Thermostats take 4-6 hours to come up to a reasonable temperature, but can’t check in until 4 pm. In the winter, this is a long wait. A small bedroom upstairs has no heat and stays cold all night, even with the door open. Inventory includes a pack ‘n play, but not included on web site so additional expense to buy one was unnecessarily incurred.

Beautiful home!
The house was really nice and very well stocked and maintained. Our only complaint was that the listing on the website showed it having a set of bunkbeds but when we arrived it was only a single day bed which did not work for the make up of our group. The management company did offer to get us a blowup mattress but no other remuneration for having to sleep on couches and rearrange our group. The house was otherwise really nice. We would definitely stay there again

Perfect mountain experience
By far one of the best experiences we have ever had from Booking to check in/out with ease. Communication was on point before even leaving Florida and landing in Colorado. Home was absolutely spectacular stunning views, home has literally everything you need to make your stay perfect. Enjoyed with family and friends, games and pool table, hot tub etc MUST BOOK AGAIN!

Shekel Haus was great
We enjoyed our stay at the Skekel Haus, everything about the property was great. We really enjoyed the hot tub during the recent snow. The master bed and bath was a great retreat for my wife and I away from the rest of the family. Only complaint we have were the beds were too firm for our liking, but other than that everything was fantastic.

Shekel House was amazing!
Super nice to work with and the house was pristine and ready for us when we got there. The location is in a friendly and quiet part of time. If it snows you will need 4WD to get up the hill though. Will rent again.
