We booked the Deluxe Room, and I definitely recommend it. The room was large, with a big bathroom and a separate bed-turned sofa that was nice to sit on. Some might find it all very dated, but we like a room with character and a cozy feel. It was perfectly clean. The sheets were high quality and the bed was comfortable. If you fiddle with the remote, you can get the TV to show movies in the original language, like English. Guests control the heat, and our room was always a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was nice at 9 euros each, and you can sit in the pretty arcade with a nice view of the garden. You can get a bus to the train station or walk easily to the center.
Unfortunately, you can hear other guests through the walls, especially if they are noisy or have loud children.. Most of our 5 nights were quiet enough. Also, in the lobby and public areas, the restrooms feature squat on the floor, pee in a hole in the floor toilets (!??!!) Time to get modern and accessible people!
