I booked this room which was listed as no refunds but when I arrived at the property for check in I was refused due to my ID being expired. I tried to show them my matching credit cards and even social security card but they refused me and refused to give me my money back. I am extremely unhappy with both Motel 6 AND Expedia. After spending over an hour on the phone I was finally able to talk to a customer service representative who told me they would “investigate” and I would have to wait at least 72 hours for a refund. The Monday before Christmas I am scammed out of $70 and left with no place to sleep for the night. Absolutely unhappy

A bit sketcy
It did the job. The room was quiet and the front staff was friendly. There were two police, an ambulance and fire trucks visiting a few people in the early morning that made us leave early as it was unsettling seeing the unhealthy people there. In the rush, we left some items in the hotel room and the staff didn't seem too interested in helping us find those items. Hopefully, they will rectify it but they still haven't called us back despite calling around 10 times.

DISAPPOINTED
It was 30° in chicago and the room had no heat. Took service man about 20 minutes to repair (Kudos to him). The shower water was barely warm and my sheets had old blood on them...NOT COOL!!!! To add insult to injury, something bit me on my hand and now I have a lump on my hand that is extremely itchy
