Nice Room Layout, but Hard to Sleep Well

The hotel is located a bit of a walk from the city centre. The room was quiet, and having both a double bed and a single bed was a nice bonus. However, the air conditioning did not work well, as it kept stopping during the night and made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom facilities were also quite outdated and it was very hard to press the flush button.

A Very Nice Stay!

We had a very nice stay in the 'Leonardo Brighton Railway Station' as it's known. It was very convenient for the town centre (20 minute walk through The Lanes) and with parking directly opposite (payment required). We were welcomed into the very clean, spacious and modern hotel by friendly reception staff and directed to our family room on the third floor. The room was fairly spacious and had two beds, one double, 1 single which had very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The bathroom was large with toiletries supplied and lots of hot water available in the shower-bath. The room had a television, tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water and lots of towels. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good and ate the buffet breakfast which was plentiful and had something for all tastes. All staff in the restaurant were efficient and pleasant. I recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel. No faults

We love this hotel. Family friends. Smells lively when you walk in! Clean, modern and spacious. Never had any complaints. My son would live to see hash browns on breakfast menu but there is so much choice regardless

Reception didn’t answer their phone, breakfast was inadequate and staff were unhelpful. Eg I ordered 3 times for poached eggs on toast and a half an hour later was given two sloppy poached eggs in a cereal bowl and told to make my own toast

The property was okay and some of the staff are fine. I booked a superior room and on the first night I was given a standard room, ac didn’t work and uncomfortable bed, bathroom was a bit dated and walls could do with a bit of paint. I complained next morning and was asked why I didn’t say anything when I checked in, I explained we checked in online with the linked sent to us by the hotel as we were arriving late, we were told it’s because we checked in late this is the reason for not getting the room we booked. I felt that was an irrelevant comment as we did checked in online as requested, the staff did change the room but we got no apologies just blame. Breakfast was good they had a good selection and staff were attentive and helpful. I wouldn’t stay again due to uncomfortable bed as i didn’t have a good night sleep for the 2 nights I stayed.
