The heating unit in the room, although apparently new, is very noisy and has to be turned off at night, so the room gets cold. There was no hot water at night, nor in the morning for my shower. At best the water could be described as lukewarm. Having said that, the room was clean and quiet.

We didn't need the air conditioning as it was a coolish day. We were able to register around 3:30 PM with access to our room right then. Room was clean and neat. We went to the onsite restaurant for appetizers and pre dinner drinks, then returned at our reservation time for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the restaurant. Service was great, with very friendly staff and all the food was super tasty!

The place is old and the housekeeers aren’t all that thorough (everything looked fine until we found clothes under the bed. They look to have been there a while so we decided not to touch them. ) There were also no sheets on the daybed in the window seat but our babies with us in this trip were 4-legged and didn’t care. All this to say the bed was comfy, the shower was hot and it’s kind of a novelty to have the restaurant downstairs be an actual brewery. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not fancy, but kind of fun

Comfy room and beds, quiet, clean room and we were impressed by the daily cleaning crew with how nicely made up the room was each day. The Inn is conveniently located, and parking was abundant. We wish the room had been more brightly lit, and that there was more substance to the continental breakfast. That said, we would choose to stay at Howe Sound Inn and Brewing Company again.
