Relaxing and Refreshing

This was the perfect house for our girls weekend getaway. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The porch bed swing and the game table (where we played lots of mahjong) made for a perfect retreat. The directions were spot on, and were easy to follow despite some missing street signs. The only drawback were the neighborhood roads which were quite rough, so pay attention to the potholes!. All in all, a beautiful house with a fabulous layout, in a beautiful area! Would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic Place!

This property is wonderful. The layout gave everyone their own place for some respite while the well appointed kitchen allowed everyone to congregate without tripping over eachother. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable. The game room upstairs provided entertainment for the kids giving them their own space. The view is serene and lovely.

We just returned from a lovely stay at Lightning Bug. We especially loved the 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The showers were all beautifully appointed. Everyone felt comfortable and had plenty of space. Response from management was prompt and polite. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great relaxing stay!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and it had all the amenities that we could possibly need. The hot tub was amazing and we really enjoyed relaxing in it. The cabin is located at the perfect location and easily accessible with only 2 entry steps to the main level. This was very helpful for us as we have a handicap family member. He had no issues getting in and around the cabin which was a huge blessing. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

30th Birthday Getaway!

Enjoyed our stay at The Lightning Bug Lodge! The house was perfect for our family, we each had our own bedroom and bath so it was great. Kitchen and living area were perfect for all 9 of us and we enjoyed the outdoor areas as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful lodge in tucked into the gorgeous trees

This property was everything we were looking for on our weekend away with family and friends. Hot tub, games, entertainment space inside and out, fire pit for campfire (with stockpile of wood provided on site) and full kitchen to cook for large group. Beds were comfy, hot water was endless, linens and towels were great! We had everything we needed! The host was quick to reply to any communication we had and we would definitely recommend this property!

Home Away From Home

Our family enjoyed our first time visiting Broken Bow. The cabin was fabulous and truly a home-away-from-home! We were in awe when we drove up and saw it. We enjoyed boating, jet skiing, the casino, fishing, hanging out/relaxing in the hot tub, sitting on the deck, and making smores! The only "complaint" we all had were the beds and hot during the night but we still slept well. I hope we get to return one day soon.

Lovely getaway

Beautiful home we thoroughly enjoyed. The hot tub was a great way to end our days after kayaking. Steep drive up and then down to the property on the neighborhood road, but lots of level parking in front of the house. The sound of the creek was nice background noise on the back deck. Other cabins in the neighborhood were near enough to sometimes hear people outside, but not to a bothersome degree. Lots of space for our party of 6 to spread out, and beautifully appointed bathrooms. The queen-over-queen bunk beds were popular with our young adult daughters!

A Celebration in the Woods

Everything about Lightning Bug Lodge is breathtaking! We loved the location, so close to activities and yet so secluded. For our 12 family members ranging in age from 12 to 80, there were so many separate areas for fun or rest and yet there were plenty of places where we could congregate together for fun and/or food.
