Welcome to Second Nature!

Nestled within the Ouachita National Forest, near the clear waters of Broken Bow Lake, under towering 80 foot pines, and offering views of the Milky Way, Second Nature has everything you need and more as you enjoy this beautiful area.

The cabin is a 2000 square foot modern, luxury cabin with 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a large game room. Indoors on the first floor, you will find vaulted ceilings and an open floorplan full of windows, inviting light throughout the day. The large, modern kitchen offers upscale black stainless steel appliances, including a five-burner gas range and stove, a bottom freezer refrigerator, and a dishwasher and microwave. A nine-foot long granite island includes a deep farmhouse sink and a bar that comfortably seats four. The adjacent dining area provides formal seating for six. A half-bath is conveniently located off the kitchen/main living area. The living area showcases the natural beauty of the area with its large windows. The living room includes a large gas-log fireplace, a custom walnut mantle, and a 65" Samsung Smart TV. All televisions in the cabin have hard wired connections to the internet. Free Wifi is also provided. The living area also includes a two-player retro video arcade that offers more than 400 games from which to choose.

The spacious master bedroom includes a king bed with a 12" Serta memory foam mattress, an adjustable desk on wheels, and a Peloton bicycle. Peloton members can bring their cycling shoes and log into their Peloton accounts on the bike. Non-Peloton members can still enjoy the bike by using the Second Nature account. If you don't have cycling shoes with Delta Look cleats, the Peloton also accommodates sneakers via Peloton-compatible toe clips. A wall mounted 50" Samsung Smart TV is also available for your viewing pleasure.

The master bathroom boasts a impressive walkthrough shower with two rainfall shower heads and companion water wands. An oversized soaker tub is also available for continued relaxation. A fully-equipped laundry closet, with a full-sized, commercial grade washer and dryer, is conveniently located off the master bathroom. Laundry supplies are provided.

Upstairs, the cabin includes a second bedroom, a full-bath, and a large game room. The bedroom includes a Serta 12" memory foam mattress, four USB ports built into the outlets above the night stands, and a 47" Smart TV. The full-bath includes a large walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head.

The game room provides plenty of space to enjoy a foosball table, a 9-foot long shuffleboard table, table bowling, as well as several family board games. This space also includes a 50" Samsung Smart TV and a comfortable trundle bed with memory foam twin mattresses providing additional sleeping accommodations.

Outside, the cabin offers 1100 square feet of covered patio space. On the front patio, you'll enjoy one of four rocking chairs to soak in the sunset from our west-facing cabin. Out back, you'll love the 9-seat deluxe hot tub, and a beautiful gas fireplace with a 55" Samsung Smart TV mounted over the mantle for watching the big game or curling up for a movie. If you want to welcome the morning sun, brew a coffee or make a mimosa, and head out to the bistro table on the east-facing back patio. The back patio also includes a sink and large granite-topped counter for prepping your favorite items to cook on the Weber propane grill. Our guests can also enjoy making s'mores around the fire pit or yard games such as horseshoes, yard jenga and ladder toss.

Second Nature boasts easy access via paved roads with a large pull through parking area for safe boat and ATV trailer parking on a flat surface. Second Nature is conveniently located near many local retail and dining establishments as well as easy access to Beaver's Bend State Park with one of the park's entrances located just three miles from the cabin. The Park offers plenty of outdoor opportunities, including hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking and swimming. Other popular outdoor activities are also available including ATV rental and golfing.

With all the activities that this area and Second Nature have to offer, there is always something to do rain or shine. So come spend some time at our cabin. Play all day and then get up and do it all over again. It's like Second Nature.

In order to complete your reservation, a signed rental agreement from Sojourn Here Properties needs to be on file within 24 hours of booking. This agreement will be emailed to you separately from our reservation system to the booking account email.
