The hotel is nice but dated. Room and bathroom were very clean but exterior and halls need a definite upgrade. The main entrance was out of service for our entire stay. There is very poorTV reception so the TV was basically unwatchable. There were also several lights out in the Marriott sign in the front. The cleaning staff were very good. They were very polite and helpful.

Overall, it was a bit run-down. The housekeepers started pounding on doors at 8:00 a.m.—you could hear them yelling “housekeeping,” “hello???” all the way up and down the hallway for an hour.

1. There were no blankets because they had not completed their Laundry 2. Though we were checking out at 10:30, housekeeping woke us up at 8:15 to clean the room. 3. The room and hallways were dirty, had not been vacummed in some time. 4 Walls were dirty. I could go on. I am a loyal Marriott Traveler - this does not live up to the Marriott Standard and is not well run, This is my firts negative review I have posted in Expedia but fell compelled to based on how poorly it is managed

Despite the no smoking policy there was a constant smell of marajuana being smoked on the 5th floor. You could smell it walking down the hallways. Housekeeping had to have smelled the scent yet no action taken. Each time Ive stayed there, there was some kind of sports tournament and young teenagers were running the halls and slamming doors late into the evening or blasting TVs at high volumes

Room was good size, bed was fine, bathroom good enough if a little bit cramped. But there was no easy chair, and though there was a refrigerator, there was no microwave. This is a very big hotel with spacious public areas, red carpets, and other luxury touches, but it is showing its age. One annoyance was that the revolving door was broken, meaning that you had to push open two doors to enter and exit.

Bed Bugs!!’n

We found a bed bug in the morning. I took a picture and video and had it confirmed by a friend that works for the health department. When I told the front desk they were dismissive at best and rude at worst. They canceled my reservation for the second night but would not refund the bug infested night I stayed there because it was through a 3rd party. They insisted their “engineer” aka maintenance worker found no infestation. However, I was easily able to find a complaint on line as recent as September 2024. They were also treated in the same manner. I filed a complaint with corporate Marriot, so we will see if they do any better!

The staff is very friendly. The hotel was big and beautiful and busy w events. The Restaurant was convenient and we went there. It close to some conveniences if you need to get anything no coffee in the room, but you can get a great cup downstairs at the restaurant they have a coffee bar set up for guests.
