Extremely convenient and comfortable hotel. Right in the centre - which did make it a little noisy with people walking past and in particular the tourist horse and carts right under our window all day. The carillon bells were also noisy, although pleasant. The breakfast was good, we had a pleasant drink in the bar and our room was cleaned daily. Only real negative is the lack of tea/ coffee making facilities in the bedrooms.

The room we stayed in was perfect in every way,big light,very clean....perfect. We were initially allocated a beautiful bedroom with beams however my wife has a 'beam phobia'...as it was our wedding anniversary I asked Ellen in reception if they had any other room....without hesitation she swapped rooms for us. She was very lovely,very professional ,very welcoming throughout our stay.xx

A good hotel with a couple of issues to sort out.

The hotel was very clean and stylish. The staff were very polite. The breakfast was very good. A couple of things for the hotel to consider: The pillows were really uncomfortable. The room was also very hot and the only way to make it cooler was opening the window or turning on the Aircon. The hotel prides itself of its eco friendlyness but this felt like a waste of energy.

The Location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing, dining and shopping as it is approx 200m from the city's beautiful main square. The rooms are immaculately clean and spacious. Breakfast wasn't cheap but of excellent quality and plentiful. Really friendly and helpful staff on Reception. The only problem we faced was actually getting to the hotel by car in the first place. Brugges doesn't really welcome cars and there are many 'no go' areas at certain times. You will need to register your vehicle to avoid a fine. The one thing that we didn't have, but would have liked, was a kettle in the room to enable us to make a hot drink at any time of day but there is a chargeable drinks machine (and small snack shop) in Reception. All in all, a fabulous place to stay.

Immaculate room but a little small. No amenities (kettle particularly) in the room, and whilst bed very comfortable it was noisy when immediately next to the street Breakfast very nice, and staff were very friendly/helpful. Great base to explore the city

Great location, very close to lots of sights and shops. The beds were okay, but the large hard pillows were horrible. There were mosquitos in our room and I woke up with giant golf ball sized bites. The second night the staff provided us with bug repellent plug ins. The lobby has snacks/drinks and a Starbucks coffee machine which is nice and convenient.

The room was small but clean and adequate for the price. I did find it hot and it was October as the ventilation was poor. We opened the window once the evening noise settled down and that was fine.

The best thing about this hotel is its location right in the city center. The room is not very big but it is clean, and the reception is very kind and helpful.

A very nice hotel in the medieval part of Burges (wonderful!). Clean, modern with helpful staff. Our room was a bit tight - no drawers on the small night stands beside the bed was an annoyance. No room fridge (for green reasons) which would have been handy as my wife has dietary restrictions and uses them to store some food she can eat. 20 Euros each for good breakfast buffet was a bit steep. We should have gone to a bakery, waffle shop or street food restaurant for better value. There was plenty in the immediate area, so do a reconnaissance before dining in. In all, we would stay there again.
