Housekeeping was subpar. There were no pillow cases or enough towels. When room service came, she left enough for one person despite there being two of us. The lady assigned to us congritaed in one of the rooms most of the time talking on the phone and didn't speak english. I didn't mind that so much, but she was reluctant to do her job. Also the heat stopped working the night before we were to leave.
Loud! Loud doors. loud people. loud barking dogs. loud a/c/heating unit in the room. It was okay for 1 night and the price. It could have been cleaner. The trash under the sink wasn't emptied, the shower needed a good bleaching and the bed was slanted.
This was just an overnight stay. Fast check in, friendly staff up front night and morning. Just a few small things….the floor when we walked in needed to be mopped as well as the bathroom which also had blue toothpaste on the wall. There was a bag of food left in fridge and crumbs in the chairs at the table, one night stand had a coffee ring as well. There was also what looked to be eyelashes (strange I know) all over the table. Unless there was a pet of sorts staying previously.
If traveling with a dog you may want to stay elsewhere. They charge a $100 non refundable pet deposit in addition to your room rate even on a one night stay. I didn’t notice that on the app so when they told me on arrival it was too late to cancel. Plenty of other dog friendly hotels in the area if you’d like to avoid that cost. It is a nice clean, nicely decorated hotel.
The Person on Duty the night of our stay was Kevin. He was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. We will stay with you again on our next trip to Charlotte.
This was my second stay at this location. The desk staff was amazing. I wasn't happy when I saw a roach crawling near the breakfast area. The kicker for me was when the housekeeper came to my room three times on my checkout day, rushing me out more than 2 hours before the checkout time. This certainly will determine my staying here again.
