The hotel breakfast is really good, the place is also in a nice location. Reception is open 24/7b, and very amenable to assist you. Sadly, the kettle was broken and we had to ask for replacements. However, they clean every day, and overall this hotel is 5/5.
Great location in the center of town. Easily walkable and surrounded by streets and streets of shops and restaurants. If you have the option, add breakfast, it was well worth it. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great stay and very convenient location to exploring Brussels. Cafe downstairs is great and a good way to start the day.

Disliked: Room comfort
I’ve stayed in a range of places in Europe from full 12 bed hostels to luxury 5 star resorts and this was probably my least favorite stay. It’s in a great location, but that’s about all it had going for it. The bed was a rock, and so uncomfortable. The tea kettle didn’t work and though it’s advertised to have a bar… it’s just a cafe. A cafe that’s open to the public and absolutely slammed at all times. I never saw the line less than 12 people deep. As a VIP member I was looking forward to my ‘complementary beverage’ from the bar after a long day of travel… it was a bottle of water.
Lovely, clean hotel with an excellent welcome on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent location, right in the middle of things and by a major train station. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The property was located in the heart of the city in the Grand Place area. This was both good and bad. The good was its location to everything including the central train station we took from the Brussels airport, the bad was the noise which seemed to only stop at 2am and then start back up at 6am when the trucks invaded the streets to make deliveries and LOTS of noise.
Our room as in the front right over the entrance so we heard EVERYTHING. I highly recommend bringing earplugs if noise bothers your sleeping.
The other oddity was the cafe located at the entrance of the hotel. When we arrived the place was packed with a line out the door which made getting our luggage inside really difficult.
Once inside though the staff were very accommodating and friendly. They allowed us to store our luggage until our room was ready.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. I have been to Europe before so I expected this but why shower doors do not cover the whole opening is bizarre to me. It made taking a shower without getting the floor soaked a challenge. Come on Europe splurge for that extra sliding shower door.
The best part of this hotel is the location. It’s just across the way from the grand place and adjacent to great shopping. We were able to walk everywhere. The big disadvantage is the noise. Every single morning by 6:30am they were hauling trash down the cobblestone paths right below or window. Woke us up every freaking morning we were there. There’s a cute restaurant you have to walk through to get to the hotel reception desk. Oh and you have to pull your luggage down the street to the hotel at least during the holidays. The street in front of the hotel is not accessible by car. We were surprised we needed to walk with our luggage.
The staff were mostly great. We had a few at the desk who didn’t want to help us. The restaurant gets very busy as well. Not sure it was worth the extra price for the hotel and breakfast package. We ate there most days because it was convenient during the holidays. There was no wait if you purchased the breakfast package, but there were so many restaurants and cafes in walking distance to the hotel. I would probably stay there again but bring ear plugs or get a quieter room if they have any. That noise was a bummer. Long days with lots of walking. Would have loved to stay in bed longer.
Fantastic hotel right in the heart of the city. Lloyds coffee shop downstairs was a massive hit and an instant relaxing point when we needed a break from walking 🙂 staff very friendly and helpful. Loved it
The Hotel was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful the location was very good for the Christmas Market and the Grand place also plenty of shopping available on the doorstep short walks to the main shopping Street and Shopping centre
Close to all public transport links and only 1 stop from Brussels Midi station and the Eurostar terminal
Couldn't ask for a better location: a few minutes' walk from the Brussels central train station, the Grand Place, and the pedestrian shopping zone.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms for a downtown hotel in a major city. Our room had been recently rennovated and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.
My only complaint, which is not necessarily the hotel's responsibility, is that the front desk arranged a van to take our group to the airport and quoted us 50 euros cash/55 euros if using a credit card. When we got to the airport, the driver insisted on 65 euros. So if the hotel arranges a van/shuttle for you, make sure that you negotiate/conform the price directly with the driver BEFORE setting foot in their vehicle or even letting them load a bag. This is standard practice when travelling in the developing world, but I didn't expect it to be necessary in the heart of Western Europe.
Fantastic location, lovely staff. We usually stay central, therefore expect some noise (we aren’t light sleepers) but the hotel was one of the loudest we’ve stayed in with street noise and building work from neighbouring properties. Not the fault of the hotel but worth noting if you’re a light sleeper. Regardless of this, we had a lovely stay.
Very nice hotel extremely close to Grand Place.
Good rooms and good service in the reception.
The breakfast, however, was disappointing as there apparently no longer was possibility for warm dishes.
