Dirty around neighborhood and lots of construction in area but nice hotel with friendly staff.
The Staff - especially Chaltine who was particularly helpful and full of practical advice - were good, the room was spacious, the property itself was clean and well-maintained, the location - 10 minutes walk from Brussels Midi Station was most convenient.
However, the local area looked like Edinburgh or Birmingham during their respective bin-strikes. Only a few of the local cafes/restaurants sold alcohol. Those that did were of quality and/or value for money establishments.
The propery inside surprised me considering the local area walking up from Midi/Zuid. Inside it is very clean, modern, new and well decorated. My room was excellent and the bed comfortable, bathroom very good. The staff were helpful. Very good value for money and much better than expected.

The hotel is beautifully presented. Good sized, comfy rooms & great bathrooms. Room had a coffee making machine but no milk & one creamer. When we asked for more we were told they had run out of milk. On the second day we asked for more coffee pods but there was still no milk. On the 3rd day we were told we had to pay for replacements when we questioned this they said the first day was just like a welcome gift. Maybe if you don’t decline the daily turn down service like we did you may get these refilled. The rubbish outside is a shame & security on the door a little unsettling when you arrive.
The property was great. Anderson at the front desk was particularly helpful and friendly. There was construction in the area which made finding the property a bit confusing but it's very close to the train station which was helpful. The area seemed pretty safe during the day, but a bit sketchy at night. The breakfast was great, everything fresh and tasty.
Really liked this hotel. Anderson was especially friendly and helpful. The area itself felt safe enough during daylight but felt a bit sketchy at night. A little confusing to get to with construction going on in the area but close to the train station which was very helpful.

Was a very good hotel, conveniently to transportation and a helpful staff.
Overall the property was very comfortable and clean. My group enjoyed the stay. The staff were professional and helpful.
I appreciated the small touches like the Belgian candies (“Cuberdon”) that were left for us in the room.
The bathroom was very clean and the room had a nice and functional design. They store luggage for you which is very convenient but you put the luggage inside the room yourself which in my opinion is not very secure. Then they give you a bag check ticket. The hotel is small and has a small elevator. There was a coffee machine in the room and a few teas (but no kettle so I think you need to request that from the front desk).
The area surrounding the hotel does not seem very safe especially at night. I never went back to the hotel particularly late but it just has an unsafe vibe unfortunately. It’s the area next to the train station (Brussels Midi station). Being that close to the station was very convenient however, for catching IC trains as well as the Eurostar)
