Peaceful sitting in the rocking chairs by the river. Room was clean, nothing fancy but comfy. I would stay there again

I love this place. It’s affordable, comfortable, quiet, quant, and a great launch off place for adventures around the Smokies. This is our second time here and we already want to go back. Also, you can bring your dog. My dog Shadow loves coming and staring from the deck to look for squirrels. The best part is the hot tub. You’ll get spoiled the next time you go to a hotel hot tub and have to share with strangers. There’s a fully stocked kitchen as well. You’re pretty isolated around the Smokies so it’s nice to run to the Ingles in Bryson City and cook at home. Can’t wait to come back!

Clean and friendly

Stayed here for five days with two other friends on a fishing trip in and around the area. The cabin was a nice older rustic cabin that was absolutely huge. Had all the amenities that we could need and was well kept up and very clean. The hosts were very polite and accommodating. And seeing elk walk through the yard was an added bonus. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I vacation in this area several times each year and by far, this was our favorite cabin. While the drive is steep (the listing indicates you need 4 wheel drive and you do!), it was worth it. Definitely need plan to arrive during daylight hours for navigational purposes.Quiet evenings, starry night skies, beautiful sunrises over the mountains, and the elevation was high enough that we actually had snow on our last night! The cabin is very well maintained, management was very responsive to messaging, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I have rented quite a few Vrbo properties over the last years. Even other one my wife and I would say let’s head back to the house or vrbo. Not this one we found ourselves saying let’s head back home! It’s not just the river and view which are million dollar it’s the cabin perfect for a couple. Trust me rent this one if it’s available if not wait till it is.
